Research On The Intervention Of Case Work In The Spirtual Comfort Of The Elderly Living Alone In Rural Areas

With the deepening of modernization and urbanization,a large number of rural young and middle-aged people in China choose to leave the economically backward countryside and enter the urban labor force,resulting in a sharp rise in the number of empty nest elderly in rural areas,the aging of the population is more serious,many rural empty-nest elderly people have economic difficulties,no care,mental emptiness and other problems,and with the increase of age,the chances of the elderly also greatly increased,compared to the rural empty-nest elderly,lack of children and partners to care for the elderly living alone,their old age is more difficult.Therefore,the study of this group can not only understand the old-age needs of the elderly living alone in rural areas,improve their quality of life,but also arouse the attention of all sectors of society to this group,in order to alleviate the aging of the population to provide some reference.By collecting the relevant literature on the research on the elderly living alone,we can find that the social work intervention has been widely used in urban communities,while the social work intervention of the rural left behind elderly is relatively few.Therefore,this study focuses on the problem of the plight of the elderly living alone in rural areas,And take an elderly solitary elderly who is facing many difficulties such as material and spiritual as the object of case intervention.This study is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction of the background,purpose and significance of the topic selection,and the literature review and definition of the relevant concepts,the theory and the research methods used,and the innovation points of the research are put forward.The second part,through the investigation and interview of the elderly living alone in n village,found that they mostly had the material,medical and spiritual comfort needs,and selected a single elderly as the service object of the case work,and analyzed the basic information and needs in detail,in order to find the entry point of case work intervention.The fourth part is the concrete process of the implementation of case work,which can help people to help themselves by improving the irrational emotion of service objects and restoring the social support network of service objects.Finally,the summary and reflection of the case work,the paper puts forward some feasible suggestions on the solution of the plight of the elderly living alone in rural areas and reflects on the problems in the process of intervention.This study,guided by emotional ABC and social support theory,verifies the effectiveness of social work in solving the plight of the elderly living alone in rural areas to a certain extent,however,this study is an interventional study for specific individuals,although the conclusion has certain limitations,but still hope to solve the problem of the rural elderly living alone for the elderly to provide some reference.
