Nowadays,education and training industry is regarded as a "sunrise industry",which is in the stage of initial development and gradual expansion.With excellent prospects,economic benefits and policy support of education industry,more and more investors choose to enter private education and training institutions.The internal and external analysis of training institutions and the study of their advantages and disadvantages have become important issues for enterprises to effectively manage and improve their competitiveness and profitability.In the face of problems and opportunities,the sustainable,stable and balanced development is of great significance to the listed companies of China's education and training institutions.This paper selected the Chinese education industry leading enterprises,new Oriental education technology group(hereinafter referred to as the "new Oriental"),under the framework of analysis at harvard,to new Oriental from 2013 to 2017,annual reports,etc as the foundation,the development of the enterprise strategy,asset quality,tax policy,financial capacity and current financial difficulties and so on advancing step by step analysis,identify the full view of new Oriental strategy,operational and financial information reflected in such aspects of problems,provide advice on the development of new Oriental school and similar concerns and Suggestions on the development of industry.Hope to provide some reference for the improvement and development of non-academic education in China.This paper consists of five chapters.Chapter one is the introduction,which elaborates the research background and significance of this paper,reviews and evaluates relevant literatures on financial analysis at home and abroad,and explains the research methods and innovation points of this paper.The second chapter will define the concepts used in this paper and briefly introduce the theory of harvard analytical framework.The third chapter describes the characteristics and status quo of the education industry and industry analysis.The fourth chapter,based on the harvard analysis framework,analyzes new Oriental education and training institutions from the perspectives of strategy,accounting,finance and prospect,comprehensively reflects the development context and financial situation of new Oriental,finds out problems and proposes solutions.The fifth chapter,based on the advantages and problems found in the analysis of new Oriental,expands to the education industry and puts forward countermeasures and Suggestions from the macro level.Through the study of this article to find new Oriental in the fierce market competition and market regulation policy tightening of external factors,such as pressure,while internal faster and the expansion of large-scale,operating costs are rising,period costs are increasing year by year,make the growth of the revenue growth rate is far lower than the operating cost,profit ability is insufficient.Need to make strategic adjustment and deep ploughing.There are few financial studies on the education and training industry.This paper USES the harvard analysis framework for the first time and takes new Oriental as a case for financial analysis.Through financial analysis,it identifies the operating advantages and risks of new Oriental education institutions,and puts forward measures and Suggestions for adjustment.
