In 2018,the ministry of education promulgated?the curriculum standard of mathematics for senior high schools(experimental draft)?,defining six core qualities of mathematics,while solving functional problems requires the common development of several core qualities,such as mathematical abstraction,logical reasoning,and mathematical modeling.Function is not only the core content of mathematics,but also the basis and tool for learning and solving problems in other fields.The idea and method of function have penetrated into every aspect of our life.However,quadratic function is the key and difficult knowledge of junior middle school mathematics,which is the key content of the examination of senior middle school,and also the foundation of senior high school mathematics learning,so it is very necessary to learn quadratic function well.Firstly,the author sorted out and analyzed relevant literature,and preliminarily understood the learning status of quadratic function of ninth grade students through interviews with front-line teachers in junior middle school.On this basis,310 junior three students were investigated to determine the research perspective.Then,based on the survey results,curriculum standards and textbooks,300 junior three students were tested,and the representative students with test results were interviewed.Then a survey was carried out among 60 front-line teachers in junior middle schools and they were asked to predict the situation of student testing.Finally,it summarizes the difficulties of learning quadratic function for grade 9 students,and finds that there are differences in the cognition of quadratic function.Through analysis,the difficulties in learning quadratic function of grade 9 students are mainly reflected in the following aspects:they do not understand the concept of quadratic function,memorize the concept as a formula,and do not understand the dynamic relationship between variables;In the aspect of learning the image and properties of quadratic function,it is difficult to select the point when drawing iny(28)ax~2(10)bx(10)c(a?)0,to usea?b?cin the symmetry and increase and decrease of quadratic function to solve specific problems,to judge the situation of quadratic function from the image,and to translate the image.In learning the analytic form of quadratic function,it is difficult to transform the general form into other forms,and it is difficult to choose the best analytic form.In terms of the comprehensive application of quadratic functions,it is difficult to understand the problem stem,to obtain effective information from the problem stem,to find the value range of independent variables and knowledge transfer in specific situations,and to combine Numbers and shapes with poor consciousness,thus making mathematical modeling of complex problems difficult.The author hopes that through the research of this paper,effective Suggestions can be put forward for the difficulties of learning quadratic function in ninth grade students,so that teachers can have more targeted teaching in the future and students can better improve the knowledge system of quadratic function.
