To explore the design rules and development trends of language teaching activities in the past 20 years,and to explore the role of collective language teaching activities in the development of children's language competence.The main research method of this study is content analysis.Through the analysis of 248 collective language teaching activities published in preschool education,early childhood education and early education periodicals from 1996 to 2017,the findings are as follows:From 1996 to 2017,the design rules of language collective teaching activities are as follows: in terms of types of language activities,language collective teaching activities mainly focus on early reading activities and literary activities,and reading before early reading,while literary activities focus on stories.In the design of activities,the needs and interests of children's language development are mainly considered;in the goal of activities,not only the development of children's reading and expressing abilities,but also the development of children's emotional,creative and imaginative non-linguistic abilities are emphasized;in the preparation of activities,all teaching activities have material preparation.A few activities have experienced preparation;in the process of activities,the main way of language teaching activities is conversation introduction,and the main method of education is the combination of sight,listening,speaking and doing;the main way of activity extension is story creation,story performance and self-reading,while the goal of activity extension is to continue to consolidate the teaching content;the main way of activity reflection is to improve the teaching advantages.The main teaching materials of language teaching activities are picture storybooks.Language teaching activities are integrated with other teaching fields,in which the integration of social and artistic fields is the most.From 1996 to 2017,the development trends of language collective teaching activities are as follows: in terms of the types of language activities,narrative activitiesand conversational activities are on the decline,while early reading activities are on the rise;in terms of activity objectives,the importance of language collective teaching activities on children's reading ability is on the rise,and more and more attention is paid to children's reading comprehension ability of emotions in works.Attention to children's expressive ability is declining;in terms of teaching materials,teachers design less and less teaching materials,and more and more ready-made teaching materials of picture stories.
