"Mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education" points out: mathematics curriculum should be committed to the realization of the goal of compulsory education stage,to all students,to adapt to the needs of student personality development,so that: everyone can get good mathematics education,different people in mathematics get different development.However,the number of students with learning difficulties in primary and secondary schools is increasing,especially in rural primary schools,where mathematics students with learning difficulties account for a larger proportion.According to statistics,China currently has 60-70% of the population living in rural areas,so improving the overall mathematical quality of rural primary school students is of great significance to the improvement of the mathematics level of the whole nation.In the long run,it also affects the overall construction and development of the country.Therefore,it is of practical significance to carry out the research on stimulating the learning interest of the poor students in rural primary schools.In the research,the author combined his own teaching and took two classes of students as the research object.Questionnaire survey,interview and other methods were adopted to determine the main reasons for the students' lack of interest in mathematics learning,and then targeted measures were taken in the teaching of experimental classes to stimulate their interest in learning.After a period of efforts,the author found that students with learning difficulties who took effective measures to stimulate their learning began to take the initiative in mathematics learning,and most students with learning difficulties began to be interested in mathematics learning.Through the comparative analysis of the results of each test,it is found that the students with learning difficulties in mathematics have improved their academic performance to different degrees.Through this study,not only the rural primary school mathematics learning difficulties students interest in mathematics,but also broaden the scope of knowledge of students and teachers.It also provides some references for the transformation of poor students in rural primary schools.
