Under the background of China's basic education reform,students' self-learning ability has been generally valued.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen students' subjective consciousness and give full play to the initiative and creativity of students' learning.This paper mainly studies the junior high school students' participation in extracurricular basketball teaching.It is found that junior high school students have low interest in learning,weak subjectivity and unskilled dribble skills when learning the dribbling technique.Therefore,after trying and exploring in teaching,the author created a basketball dribble game called“back-to-back game”,hoping to improve the self-learning ability of junior high school students through the teaching experiment of “back-to-back game”.This paper uses literature,experimental,investigation,observation and other methods to conduct research.This study uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods,focusing on the status quo of basketball self-learning ability of junior high school students,the creation of "back game" and The teaching experiment process design,research results and analysis are studied in three aspects.Firstly,based on the theory of autonomous learning and sports autonomous learning,this paper scientifically selects five dimensions that affect the ability of junior high school students to learn independently,and selects the appropriate texts from the existing self-learning scales at home and abroad.After combining the opinions of experts,the "Basic Self-learning Ability Scale for Junior Middle School Students" was compiled.Interviews with some students before the release of the scale.Through the analysis of the survey data and interview results,the junior high school students were initially informed in extracurricular basketball teaching.The basic situation of self-directed learning.Secondly,based on the theoretical research of pedagogy and physical education,combined with the advanced basketball teaching concepts and practices at home and abroad,this paper scientifically carries out the creation of the "back game" and the design of the teaching implementation process.The content of the game creation must conform to the junior high school.The need to develop a healthy body and mind;the entire teachingimplementation process fully demonstrates the common activities of teachers and students,and more prominent students' ability to self-exploration and self-solving problems.Finally,the data collected in the scale is quantified,and the changes of the data of each dimension of the basketball self-learning ability of the junior high school students before and after the teaching experiment are analyzed.Through interviews with some students,the students' feelings of participating in the "back game" are understood.Through the specific opinions obtained after interviews with experts,it is further explored that the "back-to-back game" has improved the ability of junior high school students to learn independently.Through the analysis of the data changes before and after the teaching experiment,the result is that the "back-to-back game" can improve the self-learning ability of junior high school students to a certain extent,further analyze the changes of various data,and find that the main reason for improving the self-learning ability of junior high school students' basketball It is the learning environment and the learning process dimension.The main factor affecting the development of basketball self-learning ability of junior high school students is the learning motivation dimension.Through in-depth and in-class observations and interviews with some students,the findings are consistent with the results reflected by the scale data,indicating the junior high school.The external performance of the self-learning ability of basketball has been significantly improved.The dribbling skills of junior high school students have been improved,and the learning motivation dimension has been relatively less improved as an internal mechanism.Through the prospect and discussion,it provides the teaching practice basis for the related research of junior high school students' independent learning ability,and provides reasonable opinions and suggestions for the development of junior high school students' independent learning ability.
