In recent years,the core literacy connotation of each discipline has been pointed out in the promulgated curriculum standards for various disciplines in Senior school,and the requirement for students' practical ability is getting higher and higher.As far as geography is concerned,the newly promulgated geography curriculum standards for Senior school students In 2017 clearly put forward the core qualities of geography: the concept of human-earth coordination,comprehensive thinking,regional cognition and geographical practice,which fully illustrated the importance of geographical practice.Although the junior school geography curriculum standard has not been clearly put forward,but in 2011 promulgated the " the Curriculum Standard of Compulsory Education in Geography " also very clearly pointed out: the compulsory education of geography curriculum is a combination of natural and social disciplines of the nature of the basic curriculum,with regional,comprehensive,ideological,life,and practical.It also expounds the concrete contents of "practicality",and points out that geography is a course with strong practicality.Practice is very important,not only for the development of students,but also for the development of geography.The author investigates and studies the cultivation of practical ability of geography class in PuJiang County,and finds that the cultivation of students' practical ability in geography class is very weak.This paper intends to find specific strategies to enhance the practical ability of Junior school students through research.This article mainly includes the following parts:First,through literature review,we can understand the current research situation of geography practical ability training both at home and abroad.Secondly,through theoretical research,this paper defines the core concept of junior school students' geographical practicality,and studies the theoretical basis supporting this study.Thirdly,through questionnaires and interviews,this paper studies the weaknesses of the cultivationFourthly,the cultivation strategy of junior school students' geographical practical ability is mainly explored from two aspects: the excavation of geographical practical activities and the implementation of geographical practical activities.Fifth,select several specific topics to do research,and in the teaching class for implementation,to verify the feasibility of cultivating geographical practice.
