Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)defines four core qualities of geography discipline,including "regional cognition","human land coordination view","comprehensive thinking" and "geographical practical power".The basic concepts of the curriculum standard of Compulsory Education Geography(2011 Edition)include "learning geography useful for life","learning useful for lifelong development","changing the way of geography learning","building open geography course",etc..Therefore,the four core geographical literacy in compulsory education stage also has certain similarities.How to cultivate the core quality of geography has become a focused issue in junior high school geography education.The teaching of geography experiment is in line with the cognitive law of junior high school students,and it is also a good way to cultivate the geographical practical power of junior high school students.In this case,it is very important to study how to better train students' geographical practical ability in the teaching of geography experiment.The author studies the literature about geography practical ability and experimental teaching,and finds that there are few studies that integrate the two.Only a few studies are focusing on the high school stage.Thus,the author will combine the geography experiment teaching and the geographical practical ability in junior high school,and explore the influence of geography experiment on the junior high school students' geographical practical ability training,and explore the more perfect training strategies.The main contents and methods of the research are as follows:At first,this article uses the method of literature analysis to define the concept of geography experiment teaching and geographical practical force.The research status of geography experiment teaching and geographical practical ability at home and abroad is investigated.Secondly,the questionnaire survey method is used to understand the current situation and main problems of junior high school students' geographical practical ability training in Hefei,Anhui Province,and puts forward some strategies for the cultivation of the geographical practical ability of middle school students based on the geographical experiment teaching.Finally,the scientific and effective training strategies were tested by carrying out the specific experimental comparative teaching for 4 months.The main conclusions are as follows:1.At present,the current situation of junior middle school classroom experiment teaching and junior middle school students' Geography practical ability is as follows:1.1 Teachers and students don't pay attention to the cultivation of geography practical ability;1.2 The school hardware condition is not perfect;1.3 The level of teachers' design and implementation of geography experiment is insufficient.2.The main reasons for this situation are analyzed as follows:2.1 The influence of exam oriented education concept on junior middle school geography;2.2 The lack of training ways of geography practical ability;2.3 There is no systematic training system of geography practical ability based on geography experimental teaching.3.This article puts forward four strategies based on how to effectively improve the students' practical ability in the process of geography experiment teaching as follows:3.1 Improve the awareness of home school students on the cultivation of junior high school students' Geography practical ability;3.2 Improve the teaching hardware facilities;3.3 Improve the geography experiment teaching scheme system.It mainly from the experimental design,experimental requirements,the depth of the problem,teacher guidance,information technology,summary and evaluation,migration and application of several aspects of the detailed scheme,in-depth elaborated the experimental activities in each link of the strategy.3.4 Based on local geography,develop characteristic practice courses,take local geography as the carrier of geographical practice,and enrich the diversity of geographical experimental forms.It provides some reference for junior middle school geography teachers in Hefei to carry out geography practice activities.4.Finally,the author applies the strategy 3 "improving the experimental geography teaching scheme system" to his teaching practice.This article lists two practical cases.After a semester of experiment,through the test article detection and questionnaire survey,from the qualitative and quantitative analysis,it concludes that the above strategies can really improve students' interest in geography learning,and improve students' Geography performance and geography practice ability on the whole.One year later,the experimental group was followed up and investigated.From strategy 4,"developing characteristic practical courses in combination with local geography in Hefei",the practical courses of local geography that can be carried out in junior middle school geography were listed.Finally,a new case is presented.Through the practice case,it is found that the geography practice ability of the experimental group students in the seventh grade experimental class is also helpful to the eighth grade local geography humanistic investigation.Moreover,strategy 4 can also improve students' geographical practice ability such as field investigation and research.It further shows the effectiveness and feasibility of the above four training strategies.The innovation of this article is to transfer the core literacy proposed in the Senior High School Geography Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition)to the junior high school stage,which is intended to better help the junior high school students connect the geography literacy.At the same time,based on the local geography,this article studies the geographical and social practice course with Hefei characteristics.At present,the research on these two aspects is still in the blank stage.In conclusion,the author desires to provide some research results as the reference for the majority of junior high school geography teachers to make better use of geography experiment teaching to train junior high school students' geography practice ability.
