In the current economic and social development of China, environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious, and the aging of the population is intensifying. It has become two major problems in social development, and it has also brought greater downward pressure on the national economy. In this context,to explore the impact of population age structure on environmental protection and economic growth, and to study how to strengthen environmental protection by adjusting population policies, and thus achieve green development of the economy,it will become the current economic and social life in China. An important topic. This paper discusses the relationship between population age structure, carbon emissions and per capita income levels by representing carbon emissions as an environmental level and per capita income as an economic level.Among them, the focus is on the impact of population age structure on carbon emissions and per capita income levels, and on this basis, several policy recommendations for realizing China's economic green development are put forward. This paper combines macro research with micro-deduction to empirically study the impact of population age structure on carbon emissions and per capita income levels.Firstly, this paper estimates the impact of population age structure on population carbon emissions in China by estimating the carbon emissions of 30 provinces(municipalities)in China from 2006 to 2015 and using the static panel data model. The results of the study show that the age structure of the population has a significant impact on carbon emissions. For every one percentage point increase in the age structure of the population, carbon emissions increase by 1.218 percentage points.Judging from the current actual situation in China, the excessive proportion of the working-age population has led to a large number of production and living consumption behaviors such as housing and automobiles, which in turn has led to excessive carbon emissions. Therefore, there is a positive correlation between the age structure of the population and carbon emissions, that is,the proportion of the labor population in the age structure of the population increases, and the carbon emissions will increase accordingly.Secondly, based on the expected data of the population age structure of different fertility models in the World Population Prospects(2015),2015 is used as the starting point of the study to examine the changes in the age structure of the population under the exogenous changes in fertility rate. The impact of income levels. The results of the study show that under the exogenous changes in fertility, the age structure of the population has a real impact on the level of per capita income. However, because different behavioral patterns correspond to different behavioral effects, under different behavioral effects, the impact of population age structure changes on per capita income is not the same.Specifically, under the different effects of children's quality effect, dependence effect, cyclical labor supply effect and labor experience, the influence of population age structure change on per capita income level is different.According to the results of empirical research, the government can start from the following aspects to achieve green development of the economy:First, promote the comprehensive two-child policy and give play to the environmental effects of population policies. The second is to pay attention to the quality of the population and improve the national quality. The third is to improve social security and improve the welfare of residents. At the same time, the government should find a balance between the improvement of per capita income and environmental protection. It must not leave the economic development to grasp environmental protection, and must not engage in environmental protection from the environment. We must adhere to the development and protection of a win-win situation and adhere to the combination of current development and long-term development. This paper is divided into five parts, the main content and structure are as follows:The first part is the introduction. This paper introduces the research background, research significance, research content and research methods, and points out the innovation and deficiency of this paper. The second part combs and reviews the existing domestic and foreign research literature. The third part discusses the relationship between population age structure, carbon emissions and per capita income level from a theoretical perspective. It focuses on the impact of the working-age population, the children's population and the elderly population on carbon emissions through production and consumption activities. The fourth part conducts an empirical study on the impact of population age structure on carbon emissions and per capita income levels.First, the empirical hypothesis of population age structure and carbon emissions from the macro level is analyzed and tested.Secondly, from the micro level, the effect of population age structure on per capita income level under the exogenous change of fertility rate is studied. The fifth part is the conclusions and policy recommendations of the paper. On the basis of the above research, several policy recommendations for adjusting population policies, strengthening environmental protection, and realizing the green development of China's economy were put forward.
