A Fieldwork Study Of Shanxi Taigu Xingyiquan From The Perspective Of Cultural Inheritance Of Traditional Village Sports

Xingyiquan was a boxing type developed in the Ming and Qing dynasties in the geographical center of Taigu,Shanxi Province.Xingyiquan in Taigu of Shanxi occupies a very important position in traditional martial arts.The development of Shanxi Taigu Xingyiquan has a very close relationship with the local village culture.Based on the characteristics of Chinese rural society,Taigu Xingyiquan is attached to the internal environment of the village and continues to spread.In recent years,the research on Taigu Xingyiquan has been paid more and more attention by scholars.People's understanding of the inheritance history,skill,fitness value and cultural connotation of Taigu Xingyiquan has gradually deepened.The research on the relationship between Taigu Xingyiquan and the local village environment is relatively lacking.Therefore,this paper mainly uses the literature method and the field investigation method to study the shape and the appearance of the Taigu Xingyi in Shanxi from the perspective of the traditional sports culture of the village,and explore the survival and development of the Taigu Xingyi using the theory of cultural anthropology.The research results show that:1.Through the field investigation of Taigu Xingyiquan,it was found that Taigu Xingyiquan evolved from the development of Daishi Xingyiquan,but in the process of its inheritance and transformation,it has already had a significant difference with Daishi Xingyiquan in Qixian,and has become an independent internal boxing.Taigu Xingyiquan has now formed a box-like cultural appearance with unique village characteristics.2.Taigu Xingyiquan has an interactive relationship with local village culture.The formation of Taigu Xingyiquan is the result of mutual selection between it and the village environment.The cultural heritage of Taigu Xingyiquan is expressed in two dimensions of time and space.In the process of development,the village culture and Taigu Xingyiquan aremutually enriched.The village provides a relatively comfortable boxing field for Taigu Xingyiquan,enough theoretical basis and the inheritance of the self-contained system.Taigu Xingyiquan also enriched the village culture: first,enriched the daily life of the villagers;secondly,improved the moral cultivation of the martial arts;third,cultivated the spirit of the martial arts.The inheritors of Taigu Xingyiquan timely adjusted their image in family space,village space and social space,embodying the four ways of inheritance of “father and son”,“villager”,“teacher and apprentice” and “teacher and student”.3.The predicaments faced by Taigu Xingyiquan are mainly: the aphasia of boxing culture,the change of living space and the breaking of structural model.4.Taigu Xingyiquan is a kind of body culture,and comprehension with body is the source of its culture;the inheritance of Taigu Xingyiquan should pay attention to the continuation of its traditional essence;the future development of Taigu Xingyiquan should adapt to the new era,and meets the needs of people's fitness,education and cultural identity.
