As a modern human lifestyle,sports tourism has deepened its integration with the tourism industry for centuries.It has been fully exploited and utilized in many economically developed countries in the world.The continued prosperity of the tourism industry has provided the impetus.In recent years,China has begun to vigorously promote the development of the sports tourism industry,aiming to stimulate the potential of the sports market through tourism,enrich the space of tourism consumption,and foster new kinetic energy for national economic development.With the mature development of foreign sports tourism industry,the motivation of various types of sports tourists.And the research on limiting factors is becoming more and more mature.Due to the differences in geographical environment,history and culture,the psychological needs and behavioral characteristics of domestic sports tourists are also different from those of foreign studies.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the sports competitions of Chinese sports tourists from the actual situation of domestic sports tourists.Motivation and the constraints it faces.Based on this,based on the first-hand data obtained from the Shanghai ATP Tennis Masters sports tourist empirical research,this study uses the push-pull theory and the leisure-restricted hierarchical model,through factor analysis,cluster analysis,one-way analysis of variance,correlation analysis,and structure.The equation measurement model and other methods are used to empirically study the motivation and limiting factors of sports tourists in China.The results show:1)At present,the motivations of sports tourists in China can be divided into social motivation,self-development motivation,escape motivation,knowledge motivation,sports interest motivation and player and competition interest motivation motivation.2)Sports tourists group presents ideal type There are three types of fan type and fan type,and the three types have significant differences in demographic characteristics.3)There are differences in restrictions on different types of sports tourists.Among the structural constraints,the distance and time factors are the most prominent.Among the individual and interpersonal constraints,the peer restriction is the strongest.4)The correlation between the motivation and the limiting factors of sports tourists is significantly different among different groups.For the fan-type tourists,the motivation of sports interest and the motivation of players and competition interest are significantly negatively correlated with personal and interpersonal constraints.For ideal tourists,escape motivation and personal and interpersonal constraints are significant;5)Structural equation model test results show Personal and interpersonal constraints have a significant negative impact on players and competition interest motives.Structural restrictions have a significant positive impact on social motivation and player and competition interest motivation.Social motivation and player and competition interest motivation have a willingness to participate.Significant positive impact.Finally,based on the perspective of the two main players of the event organizer and the government,this paper puts forward some suggestions on how to improve the marketing strategy of the event organizers and the role of the government in cultivating sports consumer groups.
