With the rapid development and transformation and upgrading of tourism industry,the demand for tourism talents also increases dramatically.However, in the current situation of grim postgraduate employment and high wastage rate in tourism industry, the contradiction between supply and demand of tourism talents highlights.As the tourism talents, Tourism postgraduates' employment intention plays an important role to the transformation and upgrading development of tourism industry.Taking the Hunan province as an example, this paper invested and analyzed the current intention of employment of colleges and universities tourism postgraduates in Hunan province, and obtained the present situation of intention of employment and the influence factors and influence degree. Finally, according to the analysis conclusion, it put forward countermeasures for improving the intention of employment in tourism industry of tourism postgraduates.This study first through literature collection and investigation,sorted and analyzed the present status of tourism education development in Hunan. Tourism education is developing rapidly in Hunan, and there are more universities offering graduate level of tourism higher education, and the universities' characteristic of tourism education is bright.Secondly, it analyzed the collected data on the basis of using SPSS19.0 statistical software, and obtained the tourism postgraduates' intention of employment and the influence factors and their degree.The research results indicated that in terms of the present situation of intention of employment, tourism postgraduates' intention of employed in the tourism industry is general; in that men are more inclined to choose the tourism industry, and senior graduate students are more inclined to choose the travel industry, and undergraduate course for graduate students majoring in tourism are more inclined to choose the travel industry.In terms of influence factors of employment intention,there are five factors that affects the employment intention:employment environment factor, work and ability recognition factor, teaching and guiding factor, social capital factor and psychological of employment factor.In that the employment environment factor, work and ability recognition factor and teaching and guiding factor are positive influence factors to the postgraduates' intention of employed in the tourism industry. In the case, the more the three factors enhancing, the more the graduate student inclined to choose the tourism industry; however, the social capital factor and psychological of employment factorare negative influence factors to the postgraduates' intention of employed in the tourism industry.In the case, the more the two factors enhancing, the less the graduate student inclined to choose the tourism industry.Finally,in order to enhance the postgraduates' intention of employed in the tourism industry in Huan,this study puts forward corresponding countermeasures according to the analysis conclusions. The countermeasures are as follows:promoting the tourism postgraduates' employment environment, including policie s and industry environment;improving the tourism postgraduates' recognition of the tourism industry and work;improving the tourism postgraduates' professional ism, including comprehensive ability and quality; improving tourism postgraduat es' employment ability, including career development and employment guidance education;improving the tourism postgraduates' employment psychological level,including vocational values education and employment psychological consultati on.
