Mathematics Curriculum Standard for Senior High School(2017 Edition)(hereinafter referred to as "Standard")regards mathematical modeling as one of the six core qualities, and there are five "Mathematical Modeling activities and Mathematical Inquiry activities"(6 hours)in the required courses. In the elective course, there are theme 4,Mathematical Modeling activities and Mathematical Inquiry activities(4hours).It can be seen that Mathematical Modeling activities and Mathematical Inquiry activities(hereinafter referred to as MMIA)have become a new content of senior high school curriculum.New requirements have been put forward in the teaching of this part of the Standard, and the new requirements have a high degree of agreement with Inquiry Learning. For this reason,we choose to study from the perspective of inquiry learning. It is of great significance to carry on the teaching design to the content of mathematical modeling and inquiry activity in senior high school from the point of view of inquiry learning.Based on literature analysis, this paper understands the teaching characteristics and principles of inquiry learning, analyzes its teaching mode, and designs a questionnaire on mathematical modeling and inquiry activities.Find out the problems and teaching characteristics of mathematical modeling in the past teaching;Secondly, according to the constructivism educational theory,Bruner's discovery learning theory and problem-solving theory, aiming at the problems and shortcomings existing in the teaching of "Mathematical Modeling and Inquiry activities" in the past,This paper analyzes the characteristics and advantages of research-based learning. Then, under the guidance of Inquiry Learning, combined with the teaching requirements of the curriculum standards, the teaching principles and strategies are designed. Finally, according to the teaching.Taking two MMIA contents as examples, the teaching designis carried out by drawing on the previous teaching experience and lessons.Through the research, the present situation of the teaching of "Mathematical Modeling and Inquiry activities" in senior high school is as follows: the individual differences of students are not taken into account in teaching, the sense of experience of students is not strong, the teaching of this course is lack of problem-based learning strategy, and the teaching of this course is lack of problem-based learning strategy.Teaching students rarely experience "topic selection, opening, closing, doing" four links;teaching, lack of cooperation. In view of this, this paper puts forward the corresponding design principles: the principle of question, the principle of experience, the principle of cooperation, the principle of teaching students according to their aptitude and the principle of autonomous learning. And it analyzes four teaching strategies that should be paid attention to in the teaching design of "MMIA" with inquiry learning: reflecting the research of the subject. The whole process, let students really experience in MMIA curriculum, pay attention to the individual differences of students in "MMIA",pay attention to teaching students according to their aptitude, take problem solving as the main carrier to carry out activities to deepen the understanding of "MMIA".Pay attention to students' independent inquiry, cooperation and communication, cultivate good team consciousness, optimize learning effect. This paper puts forward the implementation scheme and flow chart of the teaching process of "MMIA" with the teaching method of inquiry learning. Two teaching cases of “mathematical modeling activities and mathematical inquiry activities”are designed.
