In terms of the school motto,it is the spirit of the university and the backbone of the idea of running a school,which is also the business card of the university to make the propaganda to the outside world.At the same time,it guides the words and deeds of the students in the university,which thus becomes the purpose of the behavior of the teachers and students in the university.In this paper,it studies the cultural characteristics of the school motto,excavates its cultural background,historical context and various aspects that are closely related to the school motto,which thus can better bring into play the cultural heritage and educating function of the school motto.What's more,normal colleges and universities,as the training base of people's teachers in the future,affect the overall quality of national teachers and affect the development of national talents training.As a result,it has great practical significance to make the research on the cultural characteristics of the school motto in normal colleges and universities.Since there is no doubt that it is of great significance of the school motto in the field of university culture research.At the same time,it has theoretical significance and practical value.It finds that the researchers have carried out research on the connotation,function and problems of the school motto in practice in this paper by combing and summing up the previous research documents.As a result,it has emerged a number of outstanding research achievements.However,it can be seen that the types of the relevant universities are seldom distinguished in the research,and it is still few for the research achievements concerning the cultural characteristics contained in the university motto.Therefore,it is important for us to find the right research field and research space,determine the research object,rationally select the research methods and research tools,and the relevant theories that the research needs.In this paper,it mainly uses the literature research method,the history research method and the text analysis method to analyze the cultural characteristics of the school motto of the subordinate normal university.At the same time,the cultural characteristics of the school motto are explained and discussed according to the definition of cultural characteristics,so as to carry out the layout of the text.In this paper,it mainly includes six chapters.In the first chapter,it is the introduction to the significance of research,research review,research methods,core concepts and other content,which lays a good foundation for the study at the early stage.In the second chapter,it excavates the cultural and historical origin of the school motto,the social and historical background of the school motto,as well as the adherence and evolution of it to reflect the unique history of the school motto of the subordinate normal university in this paper through combing the history of six colleges and universities as well as related literature books.In the third chapter,it is the cultural expression of school motto,which is written from three aspects,such as the form of language expression,the form of formation and the form of communication,so as to distinguish the form of cultural expression of school motto from the different forms of expression of other cultures.In the fourth chapter,it shows that the school motto is a complex individual which contains many cultural elements,such as traditional culture,normal culture,university spirit and the idea of running school.In the fifth chapter,it is the discovery of the cultural value of the school motto,in which it summarizes the value of cultural heritage,education,and the value of social civilization according to the characteristics of cultural value,so as to show that the school motto has its own unique value and significance.In the final chapter,it hopes to explore the connotation,pay attention to the thought,make the construction on the system and enrich the form of school motto in terms of the construction and development of the school motto,while it emphasizes the importance of school motto.This study finds the different historical developments and source of words of the six normal schools,analyzes the cultural expressions and their advantages and disadvantages of their school motto,and fully interprets the ideas and spirit of the school motto mapping,and explores the value and significance of their existence..Through these aspects,we fully interpret the cultural characteristics of the mottos of the subordinate normal universities,and have certain reference value and reference significance for deepening and highlighting the cultural characteristics in the process of drafting and disseminating the university education in the future.
