Adolescents are the future of the motherland and the hope of the nation. The healthy development of adolescents is closely related to the future and destiny of the country. With the rapid development of the information society today, various types of network and media information are emerging one after another. The large amount of negative information that has followed has begun to emerge and has gradually invaded the campus environment.Junior middle school students who are at a critical stage of physical and mental development are highly vulnerable to negative information and produce many deviant behaviors and problem behaviors. These deviant behaviors not only disturb the normal teaching order, but also hinder the students' individual academic development and must be taken seriously. The purpose of this study is to explore the mechanism of parental monitoring and junior middle school students' academic performance, and to establish a new theoretical analysis framework to verify the direct relationship between parental monitoring on junior high school students' academic performance and the intermediary role of bad peers in the relationship between the two. This study used the 2013-2014 China Education Follow-up Survey(CEPS)baseline survey data, with a sample size of 19,487 students in grades seven and nine. After controlling for the relevant variables, the structural equation model method was used to verify the positive correlation between parental monitoring and the academic performance of junior middle school students, the negative correlation between parental monitoring and deviant peers, and the direct negative correlation between adverse peers and academic performance. In addition, deviant peers can play an indirect intermediary role in the relationship between parental monitoring and academic achievement, which is reflected in the fact that parents can reduce their negative peers by strengthening the supervision of junior high school students, and reduce the negative impact of bad peers, thus improving junior middle school students' academic performance.Level of achievement. Finally, this study improved the external environment for junior middle school students' academic development by intervening in deviant peers, parents of junior middle school students, and the school environment.Through the behavior modification method, growth group and case counseling to improve the deviant behavior of junior high school students, through the strengthening of parental education to enhance their educational knowledge and ability, through the development of school social work to create a good learning and growth environment for junior middle school students.Through the behavior modification method, growth group and case counseling to improve the deviant behavior of junior middle school students, through the strengthening of parental education to enhance their educational knowledge and ability, through the development of school social work to create a good learning and growth Environment for junior middle school students.
