Education,as the most effective tool to improve the quality of the whole people,is conducive to promoting social progress and promoting national economic development. In today's world of rapid development,it is an important boost for all countries to participate in international competition.China is strong when young people are strong. The education of young people is an important impetus for China's development and an important guarantee for the long-term realization of social harmony and stability. However, the primary stage of socialism in our country the national condition, decided the development gap between urban and rural areas should not be ignored, the urban and rural development policy, economic development level, folk culture, many aspects such as social life is not the same,at the same time, the urban and rural integration itself is a very complicated process, this means that the country needs a long period of time, made great efforts to eliminate the gap between urban and rural education. In order to study how much of a gap between the ownership of the urban and rural education resources, and examine whether the gap between urban and rural areas will cause differences in academic performance,on the one hand, based on national statistical data analysis of the urban and rural compulsory education in recent years of high school have differences and change trend of education resources,on the other hand,in microcosmic individual point of view, this article from the Chinese education track investigation to find the data in the database(CEPS)and in urban and rural comparative perspective as a starting point, more comprehensive examines the education resources have difference,On the basis of this paper,by using hierarchical model to explore the urban and rural compulsory education junior middle school stage student's education resources have different effects on the academic performance, hope to find out, narrow differences between urban and rural education resources to reduce the negative impact of external education resources factors, one of the most effective way to further explore improve urban, rural middle school students' academic performance, the best way to ensure the quality of urban and rural education homogeneity, make urban and rural students in high school get the same education results. In this paper, through the study found that:(1)Although the countries try to tilt to rural areas in education reform, shorten the gap between urban and rural education, butat present, the urban and rural education gap is still evident, from the point of education achievement, low average academic achievement of rural schools than in cities and towns, the registered permanent residence of non-agricultural residents/students overall level of academic performance above the level of the agricultural household registration of a student's academic performance, the impact on the efficiency in learning is still there.(2)In addition to the influence of urban and rural factors, individual gender and talent of students also affect their academic performance. The higher the cognitive ability of students, the more likely they are to achieve good academic performance, and this positive influence will become more important with the improvement of students' educational level in schools in urban areas.(3)Although most family resources have a positive impact on students' academic performance, the resources within the family are limited, and the resources available to individuals will be diluted with the increase in the number of compatriots, and the ownership of resources will decrease,so the academic performance will naturally be relatively poor.(4)In the research on the influence of school factors,it is found that the influence of regional factors on academic performance is more significant in rural areas.School management level and teacher resources are one of the most important factors affecting a school. The stricter the school management, the higher the quality of teachers, and the easier it is to cultivate excellent students. Therefore,in view of the above research conclusions, this paper mainly puts forward policy Suggestions from the national level, family level and school level :(1)From the national macro perspective, the government should continue to take effective measures to narrow the gap between urban and rural compulsory education resources and ensure equal access to quality education for middle school students in urban and rural areas.(2)The amount of available resources within the family has a significant impact on the academic performance of middle school students. In fact, the intangible atmosphere influences the academic performance of middle school students more than the economic conditions. As the first teacher of middle school students, parents should constantly improve their participation in self-education to provide invisible help for middle school students to achieve better educational performance.(3)When the state increases its absolute investment in rural education,it must pay attention to improving the efficiency of the use of educational resources in rural areas, and use appropriate policies to urge rural schools to make better use of existing educational resources andavoid waste,so as to truly improve the quality of teaching and promote students' academic progress.(4)Strengthening school management, promoting the flow of teachers between urban and rural schools and improving the quality of teachers can help narrow the gap between urban and rural middle school students' academic performance.
