Research On Evolution And Emergency Management Of Network Public Opinions On Events In Colleges And Universities

The emergency management ability of quick response to network public opinions on events in colleges and universities is directly related to the effect of handling such events.To improve emergency management ability is the urgent need for people managing dealing with network public opinions under new media.Taking the PPRR process model as theoretical basis and analyzing each stage of typical cases of network public opinions on university events in recent years,it not only enriches the theory of network public opinion on universities events and crisis management,but also enables managers to know about basic situation and find their shortcomings,so that they can improve framework and ability of emergency management,and promote university development as well.It has great significance both in theory and practice.This paper mainly adopts literature research and case analysis and other research methods.By analyzing the evolution of the typical case of network public opinion on universities--"Fudan plagiarism" event and combining actual situation of such events to find out problems,this author points out when network public opinions on university events occurred it is important to improve public opinion environment and enhance monitoring and research ability.It is also significant to take initiative of network public opinion guidance,improve the ability of handling network public opinions on events in colleges and universities to turn crisis into opportunity and restore positive image of universities.Therefore this paper suggests a system of PPRR model that runs through the whole process of emergency management for network public opinions on events in college and universities.
