The Research On The Evolution Mechanism Of Network Public Opinion About Emergencies In Universities Based On SNA

In recent years, various kinds of emergencies occur frequently in universities, which hasmade a negative effect on the normal order of teaching and scientific research in universitiesand interfered with social stability. In the process of occurrence, development andvariatiouniversity emergencies, teachers and students in universities and other network nodesgather information actively and randomly by means of news posting, forum posting andmicro-blog forwarding. After a series of analysis and exchange, the network public opinionwhich is based on events or variations has formed. Due to the fact that the reactions to sundrypublic opinions caused by emergencies in universities are numerous and complicated, alongwith their complexities and particularities, so far, academic circles made a few contributionsto the research on the evolution mechanism of network public opinion in this aspect.Meanwhile, they are also lacking in sufficient knowledge of situations and harm caused by thenetwork public opinion about campus emergencies, as well as corresponding and reasonablesolutions.This thesis applies comprehensively public management theory, education managementtheory, social network analysis method and simulative tools to the research on the evolutionmechanism of network public opinion about university emergencies and the analysis ofdiffused and evolutionary paths, situations and laws of them. At the theoretical level, itconstructs the logical framework of the university network public opinion in the evolutionarystage by analysis of the evolution mechanism of network public opinion about universityemergencies. At the empirical level, it cites a typical university emergency—“Li Gang Event”as an object of study to analyze the characteristics of network structure and influence of nodewith the method of social network analysis applied to the research on the diffusion andevolution of the network public opinion about emergencies and put forward guidance andmanagement strategies based on research results so as to provide reference for the effectivemanagement of network public opinion about university emergencies.
