With the amendment and implementation of the Regulations on the Education of Disabled Persons, regular schooling has become the preferred placement form for disabled children.Visually impaired groups as an important part of the disabled group, their education problems, especially the problem of attending regular classes, have been paid more and more attention by the educational circles. This study conducted in-depth interviews with 18 visually impaired persons who had attended regular classes at the basic education stage and those who were attending regular classes. It explored the problems of school adaptation, coping styles and social support in the process of regular schooling, and summarized the common problems in the process of regular schooling for visually impaired persons.(1)The problem of school adaptation of the visually impaired in academic and interpersonal relations is more prominent. The academic performance of the visually impaired basically conforms to the normal distribution, but the individual performance tends to decrease with the increase of grade.Almost all the visually impaired people express that they have suffered bullying mainly in the form of speech, mainly in the form of insult, teasing and isolation.Two-thirds of the visually impaired indicated that there was a problem of collective integration, and the problem of collective integration was a continuation of bullying.(2)In the face of academic problems, the positive coping style is more than the negative coping style, but in the face of interpersonal problems, the proportion of the two coping styles is similar. The positive coping style of the visually impaired seldom chooses to seek help actively to solve the problem.(3)Parents and teachers give more academic support to the visually impaired, mainly in form, and less psychological support.(4)Visually impaired students in the regular school environment tend to hide their identity with visual impairment, and their inferiority and self-esteem areobvious. On the basis of probing into the problems and analyzing the reasons, four educational suggestions are put forward: possessing and disseminating disability consciousness from the social perspective, providing reasonable convenience for the visually impaired to meet their needs, paying attention to psychological counseling and strengthening multi-party cooperation.
