Empirical Study On College Students' Outlook On Life

Educating and cultivating college students' correct outlook on life and values is the main task and basic requirement of the ideological and political education.University is the critical period for college students to form and develop the correct outlook on life.Forming and developing correct outlook on life is not only related to the healthy growth of college students themselves,but also to the political mission to cultivate of qualified builders and reliable successors to the cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics.Acceleration of globalization in economy,politics and culture,social transformation and the reform and opening-up,complex and changeable social environment,the adjustment of various interests pattern,unceasingly occurrence deep-seated social contradiction,and the Internet,all have great impact on college students' ideology,way of thinking,value orientation,the behavior.New characteristics,new situation and new problems with distinct characteristics of the Times appeared concerning the college students' outlook on life.It is,therefore,of important historical and realistic significance to carry out an empirical study of college students' outlook on life,analyze the present situation of college students' outlook on life,grasp the new characteristics and new changes of college students' outlook on life,and put forward countermeasures for targeted education guidance,so as to strengthen the education of college students' outlook on life.This paper first summarizes the outlook on life and the basic content of the connotation of outlook on life and college students' outlook on life,summarizes the theory of construction of college students' outlook on life and the significance of college students'outlook on life education.The second part reports a sample survey of the college students'philosophy of life in four agricultural universities.A questionnaire,which covers three parts on college students' outlook on life concerning five dimensions of college students' life cognition,three aspects of college students' outlook on life and factors affecting college students' outlook on life,has carried out.In the third part,statistical analysis and comparative study of the empirical results of the survey reveal the current situation of college students' outlook on life,influential factors and development trends,the characteristics of college students' outlook on life.The fourth part emphasizes necessity to integrate the college students' outlook on life education into the ideological and political education category.Three countermeasures are put forward:by strengthening the socialist core values education,constructing good network space,cultivating a good family education environment so as to optimize the external environment of college students'outlook on life education;by improving the education of ideological and political theory,constructing university campus culture,paying attention to the Chinese excellent traditional culture education,so as to fully play the role of the main ideological and political education in institutions of higher learning;by promoting the reform and innovation of student's organization,building the extracurricular education system,so as to further perfect the student-oriented extracurricular education function.
