The Comparative Analysis Of The Technical And Tactical Characteristics Of China's Table Tennis Main Opponents In The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games

A new cycle of preparation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics has begun with the Chinese table tennis team winning all four gold medals at the 2016 Rio Olympics.Throughout the major international competitions from 2016 to 2018,the performance of Chinese men table tennis has experienced some ups and downs.Foreign players have formed greater impact to us than before,and China's standing in the world table tennis arena is facing greater challenges than before.Timo Boll,Donic Ovtcharov,Hashimoto,Koki Niwa and Lee Sangsoo,these five foreign players pose different challenges to our country on the road of winning the championship.This paper selected 10 games for each players according to the level of competition,useing three phase indexes,mathematical statistics method,video observation method,collecting and analyzing videos of these five players' events in the 2016-2018,providing targeted training and competition tactics reference to improve the competitive ability and performance for the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games,also for further consolidate the Chinese Table Tennis Team dominance in the world.After research,the main conclusions are as follows:1.On the whole,the five players all have a higher utilization rate of the attacking-after-service phase,but the scoring effect is not as good as the performance of the attacking-after-receive phase.Among them,Koki Niwa and Lee Sangsoo have the worst scoring ability of the five-players attacking-after-service phase,while Timo Boll,Donic Ovtcharov have a higher utilization rate of the stalemate segment than the other three.2.In the third stroke,the the scoring ability of Hashimoto and Timo Boll attacking-after-service is strong.Koki Niwa relatively more use side position to attack and the ability of it is outstanding.In the connection of third and fifth stroke,fivepeople more use of continuous attack and attack-after-counterattack,Donic Ovtcharov 's scoring ability in the fifth board is relatively outstanding.3.In the second stroke,Donic Ovtcharov has strong scoring ability of attack and control when receiving the ball,Hashimoto relatively more try to attack.In the connection of second and fourth stroke,five people all have a higher utilization rate in continuous attack,counterattack-after-control and attack-after-control,Donic Ovtcharov and Lee Sangsoo 's scoring ability is outstanding.4.In the even-handed stalemate phase,Donic Ovtcharov,Hashimoto and Lee Sangsoo mainly use backhand,Donic Ovtcharov 's backhand ability is relatively strong,but his forehand is weak,Hashimoto has the better scoring ability of forehand.
