Function plays an important role in senior high school mathematics and occupies a large proportion in the college entrance examination.The review of function topic is the key point in grasping the functional knowledge.And the reasonable disposition of example and exercise affect in review of function topic.So it's important to configure example and exercise.The important steps of selecting examples,y controlling the difficult of examples,and designing groups of exercise.The research mainly includes six aspects;(1)the analysis and induction of the college entrance examination function questions;(2)common problems in configuring exercises;(3)the criteria for selecting examples;(4)the methods of compiling exercises;5)the methods of controlling difficulty of exercises;(6)designing groups of exercises.Firstly,The author analyzes the form of examination,the basic type of questions,the frequency of examination,the important methods and so on.And explores the emphasis of knowledge and the basic type of related problems.The common problems in disposition of example and exercise are analyzed by comparing problems in teaching with the basic type of questions above.Being aimed at the basic type of problems and solving methods,and according to the literature and the results of questionnaire,the author develops the criteria for selecting problems in review of function topic.Secondly,according to the literature and the compiling method of College entrance examination questions,the main ways to compile problems and control difficulty of compiling problems are introduced and briefed.Finally,taking the topic of application of derivative as an example,the appropriate examples are selected and the groups of problem are designed in all sorts of ways above.The conclusion may come down following three major ones.First,the criteria for good questions are scientificalness,pertinence,including basic knowledge and basic methods,being derived or generalized.Second,the main methods of compiling problems are converse thinking,analogy and transformation of conditions.Finally,the methods of controlling degree of difficulty are change of the way to ask questions,change of the condition of the questions,and change of comprehensive difficulty.Third,according to the conclusion,the author takes the application of derivative as an example and teaching,which can prove the conclusion of the research.
