Identity is the sense of glory and belonging of college students to social and political life on the basis of supporting the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist road with Chinese characteristics in the new era.Political identity of college students in the new era is an important part of ideological and political education of college students,involving mufti-dimensional identity education and guidance,such as political party identity,road identity,system identity,cultural identity and values.The education and cultivation of college students' political identity in the new era is related to the realization of the educational objectives of “what kind of person to train” and “how to train” in socialist universities with Chinese characteristics.College students' political identity is closely related to the cultivation of students' self-cultivation ability of inner psychological mechanisms such as self-awareness,self-evaluation,self-regulation and feedback,self-shaping and self-improvement.It complements and promotes the formation and maintenance of college students' political identity through the construction of external mechanisms such as education,restraint,guidance and rewards and punishments.According to the characteristics of college students and the construction and development of the Party in the new era,colleges and universities should attach importance to the internal and external mechanism and development law of the formation of college students' political identity,strengthen the education and guidance of College Students' political identity,and strive to construct a clear educational objective,content,path exploration,platform carrier construction and evaluation system of college students' political identity,so as to achieve multiple rounds.Promote the cultivation of political identity of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era of college students.
