The Role Of Classical Chinese In Senior Chinese Writing Teaching

Both classical Chinese and writing are the major difficulties of Chinese teaching in senior high schools,which is in a worrying situation and people still haven't found a highly effective way to deal with it.On the basis of the analysis of the teaching of classical Chinese and writing,we recognized that as the essence of Chinese ancient literature,classical Chinese will be a good reference to modern writing both in expression and text structure.By considering about that,we believe that it's feasible to learn and make full use of the classical way to enlighten these students in a predicament of writing.In the case study of classical Chinese text in PEP edition of Chinese textbooks for high schools,we analyzed the connection between the modrn and classical writing style and the construction of writing textbook then we researched the promoting role of classical Chinese in writing teaching for high schools.In this paper,we are going to discuss about the teaching and learning of classical Chinese and writing,besides,we strive for a breakthrough as well as an effective way in this paper.In view of this,this paper will be discussed into the following five parts:The first part is introduction.In this part,I'm going to introduce the background of this topic,the status quo of the research of classical Chinese and writing teaching,the purpose and significance of this study and the method of this research.In the second part,I'm going to expound the possibility and necessity on learning about the writing skills from classical Chinese.In the third and forth part,I will discuss about how to improve argumentative and narrative writing by learning classical Chinese from multiple perspectives in detail.In the last part,I'm going to expound my proposal on how to improve writing teaching in high schools by learning classical Chinese.
