| Hu Shi is a figure that cannot be ignored in the Chinese education of the 20th century.He combined his own educational experience and at the same time,based on the actual situation,he explored a flexible and varied way of teaching literacy for the current state of Chinese teaching.Hu Shi’s view of reading and writing is very important for Hu Shi’s Chinese education thought and is a key component of it.Through reading and researching Hu Shi’s major educational works and interpreting Hu Shi’s educational thoughts,he analyzes and summarizes Hu Shi’s literacy and literacy teaching perspective.It fully and clearly presents its formation background,basic content,and connotation,and conducts a relatively systematic review of it.Hu Shi’s literacy teaching concept is student-centered.In reading teaching,he advocates a large dose of reading,pays attention to students’self-directed learning,cultivates students’skeptical awareness,and stimulates students’interest in reading.His writing concept requires students to express their feelings.For the composition of the composition,students must be given full consideration,diligently do translations,conscientiously study grammar,and daily writing can substitute for the composition of the class,and advocate raising the level of writing through speeches and debates.This article attempts to comprehensively analyze Hu Shi’s literacy and literacy concept,analyzes its positive and negative influences,combines the practical problems faced by current Chinese language teaching,and attempts to explore the implications of Hu Shi’s literacy perspective for contemporary Chinese language teaching. |
