Research On The Popularization And Promotion Of The Mass Winter Sports In Chengde

On July 31,2015,it has been announced that Beijing will be hosting of the 2022 Winter Olympic Games.In the meantime,we solemn promise to Olympics Committee,we will lead 3 hundred million people to participate into winter sports.While comprehensively implement preferential policies of National Fitness,winter sport becomes one of entertainments to improve mass fitness as a distinctive sport,and also,winter sport industry that becomes an emerging industry will be fully supported by the government's rigor plan.With the popularity of winter sports among the masses,it is not only able to fulfill people's demands on healthy life,but also,provides the essential marketing environment for the development of the new industry.The special geographical conditions of Chengde City make Chengde's climate close to summer in spring and winter in autumn.The freezing period is usually about four months.It is the only area in North China that can carry out outdoor(natural ice)speed skating competitions.Rich natural ice and snow venue resources,Have the conditions for the development of regional sports industries.The successful bid for the Winter Olympics has brought new challenges and opportunities to China.The popularization and promotion of the ice and snow movement throughout the country,the joint development of Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei,and the further development of chengde tourism have also expanded their thinking.The wide popularization and promotion of the snow and ice movement in Chengde City is not only conducive to meeting the needs of the masses in winter fitness,but also responds to the National development strategy of national fitness.It plays an important role in shaping the new image of tourism culture of chengde's "ice play capital" and creating the urban atmosphere for the whole people to understand and participate in ice sports.It has practical significance for driving the development of chengde sports leisure tourism industry.The research methods had been utilized to this paper is literature research,survey,questionnaire,interviews,site visiting,and statistics.Corresponding countermeasure has been formulated after interviews with specialists about conditions that restrict winter sport in Chengde City,a survey result with 2,000 people and 17 winter sport coaches,excel spreadsheet data analysis and related paper summary as well as referencing government policies.Therefore,conclusions are as followed:(1)The main reason that restricts people to actively participate in winter sports is the weakness of consciousness.According to the main reasons that impact the development of winter sports in Chengde city from surveys,recommendations are listed as followed:(2)More winter sporting events should be recommended.During the Winter Sports Carnival,it is also recommended that the media start introducing winter sports to the public while promoting winter activities by arranging winter sports learning sessions on site,having volunteers on site to guide people into and through the study.(3)Government should provide funds for winter sports venue construction and operation.All the venues should be classified and operated differently.A high-level venue should be paired with services in order to motivate people to actively take part in winter sports.As well,during non-holiday season,venues and rental services are recommended to be offered free to the public for certain period of the time during the day.(4)It is suggested that the benefits and awareness of safety in regards to winter sports should be educated to the public by using posters and electric screens outside and inside the venues in order to soothing people's fear in participating such activities.(5)Institutions and companies are recommended to coordinate union activities for the purpose of establishing their employee workout habits in winter by arranging winter sports fundamental course,such as speed skate,as well as popularization basic winter sports skills.(6)Relevant departments are recommended to encourage the establishment of winter sports related clubs as well as provide supports on corresponding education.
