Research On Sustainable Development Strategy Of Mass Ice And Snow Sports In Harbin In The Post-winter Olympics Period

After the Winter Olympics,a study was conducted on the sustainable development strategy of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin,with the aim of promoting the development of China’s ice and snow industry.While the development of ice and snow sports in Harbin has been relatively successful,achieving sustainable development and long-term prosperity requires a clear understanding of the development trends and influencing factors of mass ice and snow sports in the region.Harbin has unique natural advantages for ice and snow sports,with a strong mass base and representative developments in these sports.The popularization and promotion of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin not only enriches the sports activities of the local population and meets their sports needs,but also provides a valuable reference for the development of mass ice and snow sports in other parts of China.This study employs the literature review,questionnaire survey,field research,expert interviews,and mathematical statistical analysis to investigate the sustainable development strategy of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin during the Winter Olympics.A questionnaire survey was conducted on 1000 individuals who participated in ice and snow sports in Harbin to analyze the current status and characteristics of mass ice and snow sports in the region.The study also identifies the factors that contribute to the advantages and disadvantages of mass ice and snow sports development in Harbin,and subsequently proposes corresponding sustainable development strategies.The results show that:(1)There are a considerable number of facilities for ice and snow sports venues,mainly outdoor venues,but the uneven distribution of ice and snow sports venues and infrastructure is not conducive to people to participate in ice and snow sports nearby.At the same time,the configuration of ice and snow sports equipment and related services are not perfect,limiting the number of participants;The retired people account for the largest proportion among the participants.They are mainly motivated by physical fitness.They lack professional technical guidance in the process of sports,and the frequency of participating in ice and snow sports is not high every month.(2)The development of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin shows different characteristics.The supply of venue facilities does not match with that of the masses,which cannot meet the diversified needs of the masses.The majority of people participate in ice and snow sports mainly in fitness and entertainment,and they are more inclined to choose interesting and interactive ice and snow sports.When choosing ice and snow venues,they prefer sports venues with convenient transportation and complete facilities.In the post-Winter Olympics period,the popularity of ice and snow sports increased,which led to positive changes in mass participation in ice and snow sports.However,mass ice and snow sports activities lacked innovation,and the consumption level of the masses in ice and snow sports was limited.(3)Factors affecting the development of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin in the post-Winter Olympics period have both advantages and disadvantages.The addition of natural and cultural environment,the introduction of relevant policies,the improvement of public health awareness and the promotion of the successful holding of the Winter Olympics are the advantages of the development of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin.However,at the same time,the venue facilities are not perfect,the government’s assistance measures need to be strengthened,the ice and snow culture propaganda is insufficient,and the shortage of ice and snow professionals are the disadvantageous factors for the development of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin.(4)Given the current characteristics and influencing factors of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin following the Winter Olympics,a sustainable development strategy is proposed.Firstly,continuous improvement of venue facilities and related services is necessary to ensure the smooth development of mass ice and snow sports.Secondly,the government should take a leading role in actively guiding the direction of ice and snow sports development,providing necessary support for mass ice and snow sports in Harbin.Finally,it is crucial to strengthen the training of ice and snow related talents,building a reserve of professional talent to maintain the vitality of mass ice and snow sports in Harbin.
