Research On The Effect Of The Change Of Taekwondo Rules On The Application Of Athlete's Skills In Competitions

Taekwondo has a history of more than 60 years.In 1973,the first Taekwondo World Championship was held in Seoul,Korea.Since then,every two years,the Taekwondo World Championship has been held.Taekwondo has gradually attracted more and more attention.Taekwondo competition rules play a guiding role in the operation of the competition,so the Taekwondo competition can be carried out normally.Taekwondo competition rules have undergone great and small changes.Summarize the previous competition situation and make appropriate adjustments to the later competition rules,constantly modify and improve the competition rules.For athletes and coaches,it is very important to arrange training scientifically to follow the changes of rules and adjust the relevant changes in time.Through relevant research,we can better understand the impact of rule changes in order to better adapt to such changes.By observing the video recordings of the men s and women s semi-finals and finals of the 2015 Taekwondo World Championships and the 2017 Taekwondo World Championships,this paper counts the related technical actions(men:58 kg,68 kg,80 kg,87 kg,women:49 kg,57 kg,67 kg,73 kg).By using the methods of literature analysis,interview,video observation and mathematical statistics,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The main scoring techniques are horizontal kick,push kick and down splitting.The scoring times of double flying,whirlwind kick and backspin kick are obviously reduced,and the number of hook kick in competition is increased.The success rate of downward splitting hitting the head is the highest of all technical movements.The success rate of hook kick has also been greatly increased.The change of rules has a greater impact on cross kick,and cross kick is the most frequently used in competitions.2.The increase of the penalty score of foul judgment makes the application of rotating technique in the competition decline as a whole.The success rate and scoring rate are declining constantly.The cost of foul increases,and the number of high and difficult legs in the competition is becoming fewer and fewer.3.The new rules increase the score of each skill,which makes the overall score of each skill show an upward trend;the intensity of competition has increased,the competition between players has become more intense,and increase the viewing of the game.
