Taekwondo is an ancient martial arts movement which originatedin the korean peninsula, by using one’s fist and feet combating andkicking in the air it has strong fighting, competitive and unites watchingentertainment. As one of the traditional sports, Taekwondo enjoys a longhistory, it is generally believed that the korean peninsula is in its threekingdoms period, and its root causes tae can even be back to the ancientunarmed combat, but name" Taekwondo " is derived in1955bycuihongxi. And the modern sense Taekwondo sports come into being eversince. After decades of development, Taekwondo thrives. In1994，theIOC officially grant Taekwondo to be one of the formal event in the2000Olympic Games. There has been many significant changes in Taekwondoin order to better adapt to the athletic movement of a rule-based one andseveral important decisions has been made during the15th and16thsession World Taekwondo Meetings which has an very important effecton the development of Taekwondo. Paying attention to the changes and the development in Taekwondo, we can see there are always one thing incommon in every changing of the rules:the increase of values for thetechnical complexity which plays a very great guiding role in itsdevelopment. As a result, always being aware of the changes of newrules in technical complexity are of great practical importance to ourtraining and competition in Taekwondo.As for this issue, many scholars has achieved great success fromdifferent angles laying a solid foundation for the further research. I havestudied this subject and i hope through the research and analysis ofthe new regulation about the increase of values for the technicalcomplexity we can know the new features and nature well and also ableto forecast changes in the development trend of Taekwondo rules,therefore coming to a scientific system conducting our daily training. Iwill do my best to make whatever contribution I can to the overallenhancement of the Taekwondo career.
