Research On Promoting Chinese Sports Spirit In The New Era

Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as its core has attached great importance to the role of spiritual leadership,emphasizing culture as the foundation of a great power,the spirit as nutrient of thought construction and the power of the spirit as guidance for the development of the times.General Secretary Xi Jinping once pointed out that the Chinese sports spirit is hard-won and precious,and it is necessary to inherit it with innovation and carry it forward.The research aims to innovate and carry forward the Chinese sports spirit on the basis of succession,to inject a strong spiritual impetus into carrying out the strategy of building a powerful country of sport,into carrying forward the national spirit and the zeitgeist,as well as the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.Taking the promotion of Chinese sports spirit as the research object,this paper,adopting methods of literature review,text analysis,and questionnaire,studies the function of Chinese sports spirit in the new era and analyzes the problems and causes of carrying forward Chinese sports spirit in the new era.It also puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions for vigorously promoting the Chinese sports spirit in the new era.The study suggests that the Chinese sports spirit in the new era has various functions: effectively uniting national consensus and enhancing national identity;demonstrating good sports image and enhancing China's national image;helping cultivate socialist core values,promote the construction of socialist core value system;promoting the physical and psychological quality and the all-round development of people;contributing to the construction of a powerful country of sport and the helping the Chinese nation to revitalize.The improved Chinese sports spirit should revolve around “patriotic dedication,truth-seeking compliance,unity and hard work,worshiping etiquette and virtue,comprehensive development,building the body and strengthening the country”.The main reasons that the Chinese sports spirit in the new era is not carrying forward well are: the wrong concept distorts the Chinese sports spirit;the content of Chinese sports spirit is not perfect;the role of the Chinese sports spirit is not paid enough attention;the exploration and spread of the Chinese sports spirit is lagging behind.The following measures can be taken to vigorously promote the Chinese sports spirit in the new era: first,to reform from the moral source.Sports executives need to establish a correct view of political achievements,sports athletes a correct view of gold medal,and sports practitioners a correct professional outlook in order to establish the correct sport's outlook.Second,we must advance with the times and improve the content of the Chinese sports spirit.Besides,give education the priority.Get sports practitioners well educated;organically combines Chinese sports spiritual education with school physical education,ideological education,and style construction;adopts misconceptions as the counterexample to flourish spiritual education,so as to improve the education of Chinese sports spirit.In the end,we must take a multi-pronged approach,make full use of excellent sports star and lead the spiritual path;actively use new media to conform to the trend of the times;pay attention to the design of dissemination content,and cater to the public psychology to enhance the effect of Chinese sports spirit.
