| The Chinese sports spirit, which is the excellent creative culture introducing and assimilating western culture, is formed by the common impact of sports spirit and spirit of Chinese nation. It is the core of the Chinese sports spirit and the soul and marrow of Chinese sports. Basing on the Philosophy of Marxism and Philosophy of Value, the theoretical system of the Chinese sports spirit is established from the point of values according to the historical materials and facts in this research.Conclusions are drawn:1. Basic concept of the sports spirit. It is regarded as the consciousness, mental activity and normal psychological condition of human beings, with health, happiness, fair competition, challenge-conquering, unity and cooperation as its main value standard.2. The contents of sports spirits. It is composed of spirits of humanism, heroism, fair play and teamwork.3. Value orientation of the sports spirit: (1)The leading position of human beings is completely established, and the value of mankind is comprehensively promoted;(2)It seeks for freedom and the unity of truth, goodness and beauty;(3)It shows an optimistic attitude of respecting and publicizing the vitality.4. The core of the sports spirit is transcending. The sports spirit transmits the human value of transcending self-ability to seek for success, and transcending limit to seek for limitlessness.5. The concept of the Chinese sports spirit. It is regarded as the consciousness, mental activity and normal psychological condition of Chinese people, with patriotism, self-sacrifice, health, happiness, fair competition, challenge-conquering, unity and cooperation as its main values.6. The contents of Chinese sports spirit:(1) Patriotism spirit of winning honor for the country: the theme of glory and dream, the sense of social responsibility, historic mission and anxiety.(2) Heroism spirit of constantly striving: be not afraid of failure or sacrifice, be brave to struggle, and have the courage to win.(3) Optimism and self-confident spirit of self-transcending: self-respect and self-confidence, self-transcending, and optimistic.(4) Fair play spirit with standard and regular order: fair play, sense of regulation, innovation basing on the fact.(5) Trusty and tolerant team spirit: sense of cooperation, respecting uniqueness while developing difference,seeking for common development.(6) Dialectical spirit of pragmatic rationality: dialectics and pragmatic rationality. In view of the ideological originate, the Chinese sports spirit stems from traditional culture of Chinese nation as well as foreign cultures.7. It is believed that the values of the Chinese sports spirit indicate in five principal aspects:(1)The Chinese sports spirit strengthens the historical identity, national identity and state identity.(2)The Chinese sports spirit can improve the overall qualities of Chinese nation, and show the vitality and ability of Chinese nation. It strengthens the physical quality of Chinese nation resisting to disease and adapting to the environment. It enhances national psychological quality of resisting risks and bearing frustrations. It also raises the national social quality of meeting challenge and being flexible to unexpected changes. The Chinese sports spirit declares to the world that the Chinese nation is a nation full of vigor and vitality, and it also proves that the Chinese nation has the ability of constantly striving to become stronger and holding world with great virtue.(3)The Chinese sports spirit can smash and rectify the thought trend of domestic narrow nationalism, which helps to set up open and modern nationalism in China.(4)The Chinese sports spirit can bring about a clear and effective intellectual support for the strong and prosperous country. The value realization of Chinese sports spirit.There are three levels of value realization for Chinese sports spirit: natural attribute level, social function level and cultural implication level, and two forms: value realization of human beings and value realization of spiritual products. The value creation lays the foundation for the value realization. The value of Chinese sports spirit can be realized in three ways: sports competition, regular exercises, media propagation, and social interaction.
