Mathematics core literacy is particularly important for the development of today’s mathematics education,among which intuitive imagination literacy plays an important role in the six core literacy of mathematics.In the face of mathematical problems,it is usually necessary to analyze and transform problems with the help of intuitive imagination literacy,so as to help students better explore the nature of problems.Therefore,this paper studies the present situation of high school students’ intuitive imagination literacy.Firstly,how to summarize the research status of core literacy,intuitive imagination and intuitive imagination literacy? Secondly,how to compile teachers’ questionnaires to investigate teachers’ understanding of intuitive imagination literacy? Thirdly,how to compile test questions to investigate the status quo of intuitive imagination literacy of senior high school students?Fourthly,how to judge the level of each test? Fifth,how to make some suggestions to teachers according to the data of teachers’ questionnaires and students’ test papers?This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature analysis,questionnaire survey and case analysis.Firstly,referring to the relevant literature of intuitive imagination,this paper summarizes the theoretical basis,the related overview of core literacy and intuitive imagination,and analyses the level division of intuitive imagination literacy and the status quo of research.After that,teachers’ questionnaires were formulated by referring to relevant literature and data,and the data were analyzed.Then,referring to the level division of intuitive imagination literacy in the new curriculum standard and the relevant data of teachers’ questionnaires,students’ test papers are formulated,and the results of the test papers are analyzed to draw the conclusions of the study,which can provide real and reliable data and conclusions for the next teaching suggestions.Through the research,we can draw the following conclusions: Firstly,the intuitive imagination literacy level of the vast majority of students has met the requirements of the college entrance examination level.Secondly,there are significant differences in the level of intuitive imagination literacy between boys and girls.Thirdly,there are significant differencesin the level of intuitive imagination literacy of students in different schools.Fourthly,there is no significant difference in the level of intuitive imagination literacy among students of different grades.On the basis of this conclusion,the suggestions are as follows: Firstly,to strengthen the relevant reserves and design reasonable teaching procedures.Secondly,we should teach students in accordance with their aptitude and make up for the defect of intuitive imagination.Thirdly,we should adopt various ways to cultivate the ability of spatial imagination.Fourthly,instruct students to draw and master the method of graphic conversion.Fifth,guide students to observe and accumulate geometric model thinking.Sixth,cultivate reading ability and explore the combination of numbers and figures.
