The teaching of classical poetry has always been an important part of Chinese teaching.There are a number of classical poems in the middle school Chinese textbooks,including four words,five words,seven words.,miscellaneous words and so on.From the perspective of the history of poetry,five-character poetry occupies a special place in the history of poetry.From the origin of the western han to the end of the eastern han,it gradually replaced the orthodox position of the four poems in the development process and became one of the main forms of classical poetry.A number of classical poems have been selected in the Chinese teaching materials of the junior high school,which includes a number of five-character poettys.Therefore,it is necessary to think about the teaching of five-character poetry.Nowdays,the teaching of five-character poetry tends to focus on the content rather than the genre,emphasizing the recitation and neglecting the cultivation of the students'humanistic qualities.However,in the process of learning the five words,students also ignore the problems such as accumulation of style knowledge and mistakes in learning focus.In this paper,we study five kinds of poems in Chinese teaching materials in the current Chinese teaching edition.Through the elaboration of the teaching meaning of ive-character poetry,this paper analyzes the selection of five poems in middle school Chinese teaching materials and introduces the present situation of the teaching of five-character poetry,and tries to put forward a more reasonable teaching strategy.The teaching research of five-character poetry can help to promote the poetic consciousness of teachers and students and further supplement the teaching of poetry.This paper mainly discusses the teaching research of five-character poetry from the following aspects:first,clear the meaning of the teaching of five-character poetrys;second,sort out the selection of five-character poetry in the middle school Chinese textbooks;third,analyze the present situation of the teaching of five-character poetry poetry;fourth,put forward strategies for teaching deficiencies.
