Research Into The Factors Influencing The High Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Among The University Students

In the Eriksson's life development stage,university students are in the early adult stage of gaining intimacy and overcoming loneliness.At the same time,they are experiencing the realization of love.Due to the dual needs of physiology and psychology,university students hope that they can have a sweet and stable intimate relationship.However,in real life,things often go against their wishes,making them unsatisfied with their intimate relationship due to trivial things,and even causing the relationship to deteriorate and go their separate ways.This may have a negative impact on university students' study,life and even their life development trajectory.Based on this,it is particularly important to discuss the factors influencing the intimate relationship satisfaction among university students.This study combines quantitative and qualitative research methods to explore the influencing factors of university students' intimate relationship satisfaction.This study consists of the following three parts:The first part: A Survey of University Students' Intimate Relationship Satisfaction.1097 university students in Hebei Province were investigated by the “Intimate Relationship Satisfaction Questionnaire” to understand the overall situation of intimate relationship satisfaction of university students and to grasp their demographic differences.In addition,subjects with the high explicit intimate relationship satisfaction(the top 27% intimate relationship satisfaction score)were selected for further research.The second part: Implict Experimental Reaearch of University Students' Intimate Relationship Satisfaction.From the first part of the high explicit intimate relationship satisfaction test,30 subjects were selected by convenient sampling method for the implicit experimental research.According to the scores,the subjects with the high implicit intimate relationship satisfaction were selected to enter the third part of the research.The third part: Qualitative Research on Influencing Factors of University Students' High Intimate Relationship Satisfaction.According to the purpose of the study and the willingness of the interview,four subjects were selected from the subjects with high implicit intimate relationship satisfaction by convenient sampling.Through the collation and analysis of the interview data,the grounded theory was constructed to explore the factors influencing the satisfaction of high intimate relationship.In summary,the conclusions are as follows:First,the satisfaction of intimate relationship among university students in Hebei Province is generally above the average level,and there are significant differences in gender,majors,parental relations,and length of love.There are no significant differences in whether the only child,state of love,birthplace,grade.Second,the positive traits of university students' personality influence university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Third,the relationship belief mode and interaction mode of the original family influence university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Fourth,the motivation for optimizing the intimate relationship influences university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Fifth,the positive thinking in problem solving influences university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Sixth,the construction of a good social support system influences university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Seventh,the high realism and healing ability of self-disclosure influences university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Eightth,the identity of life planning influences university students' high intimate relationship satisfaction.Ninth,other factors that influence the satisfaction of high intimate relationship among university students include: the exploration of knowledge related to intimate relationship,and the personal growth brought by intimate relationship.
