At the beginning of the founding of New China, various tasks were still unstable, and the problems of economic backwardness, political instability, and backward cultural level severely restricted the development of New China. The government urgently needs to stabilize the political situation and resolve the new regime by solving many problems.Among them, the problem that seriously affects the construction and development of New China is the existence of a large number of illiterate and semi-literate people.Through the top-down literacy campaign, the number of illiterate and semi-literate people can be reduced, the cultural knowledge level of the people, the level of science and technology, and the development of workers and peasants can be improved. At the same time, the ideological and political consciousness of the people has also been greatly improved. The literacy campaign in Angola in the 1950 s was a local literacy campaign under the vigorous launch of the national literacy campaign.Anguo's literacy campaign to eradicate illiteracy is also an objective need to build a new Anguo country. At that time, the number of Chinese, cadres, and peasants in Anguo was numerous, and the existence of a large number of illiterates restricted the economic, political, and cultural development of Anguo. The Angolan government attaches great importance to the literacy movement and has made tremendous efforts in the preparation of the literacy campaign.Whether it is from organizational leadership, mobilization, and preparation and training of teachers,it has made positive preparations. In the preparatory process,we will first actively establish literacy agencies to ensure that special personnel are responsible for literacy campaigns,so that literacy campaigns will be more standardized;and then literacy activities will be carried out among the public to promote literacy campaigns and stimulate the initiative of the masses to participate in literacy campaigns; The training of teachers should also be carried out in time to ensure that the literacy campaign can be carried out smoothly. The Angoland literacy campaign targets a wide range of subjects, including farmers, workers and cadres, and implements targeted literacy education based on the different characteristics of the group. The specific educational contents of the Anguo literacy campaign include literacy education, literary education, science and technology education, health education, socialist education, patriotic education, current affairs policy education, and ideological and moral education.Through the education of these contents, the cultural level of the people is improved.Ideological and political consciousness has also been improved.Inthe 1950 s,the development of the literacy campaign in Angola enabled a large number of illiterate people to achieve literacy, improved the cultural level of the workers and peasants, and turned the masses over in culture. At the same time,it also enhanced the masses' recognition of the new society and consolidated the new regime..In the 1950 s,the literacy campaign in Angola also had certain limitations, such as backward organization and rectification, unreasonable time allocation, and low teacher culture.Summarizing the achievements and limitations of the literacy campaign in the 1950 s,it has certain enlightenment significance for establishing a new concept of literacy education in the new era, constructing a new framework for literacy education in the new era,and improving the cultural and ideological quality of the people.
