Research On The Effect Of Education Investment On Economic Growth In The Process Of Urbanization In China

Since the 18 th CPC national congress put forward the concept of building a new type of urbanization,how to build a new type of urbanization and how the process of urbanization will affect other aspects of development have become the focus of attention of the government,enterprises,scholars and others.According to the spirit of the eighteenth big,urbanization is the carrier to realize China's two dreams in one hundred,is the education development,the economic boom,the basis of how to realize in the process of urbanization,education implementation effect on economic growth is the largest,how to make modest education investment and economic development,these problems will be a big challenge in the course of urbanization in China,at the same time,it also means that the education investment to economic growth in the process of Chinese urbanization effect research has practical significance.Based on theory of human capital and economic growth theory as the basis of theoretical analysis,the urbanization is divided into three stages,respectively analyzes the education investment to economic growth in the early years of China's urbanization effect,education investment to economic growth in the middle of the Chinese urbanization effect,the influence of Chinese education in the mature stage of urbanization on economic growth effect.On the basis of theoretical analysis,empirical analysis are done on the empirical analysis is validated through the panel threshold model,firstly in this paper,the threshold panel data model and to discuss the development,principle and estimation method,based on the urbanization as a threshold,the education investment as the dependent variable,economic value added as the independent variables,using China's 31 provinces and cities in 2005-2016 panel data,analysis of China's urbanization in the process of education into effect on economic growth.The results show that: the impact of education investment on economic growth is not a simple linear relationship,and there is a nonlinear relationship when urbanization is taken as a threshold variable.There are two thresholds,three intervals,each of which has a different coefficient of impact on economic growth.Respectively according to the result of empirical study,the education input to the three sections of interval of urbanization on the economic impact analysis of the impact mechanism of urbanization in most Chinese cities belong to the middle,so suggest strengthening basic education and vocational education,but also because of China's vast territory,obvious regional differences,so,in the various stages of the development of Chinese urbanization,to adjust measures to local conditions,adopt corresponding to the local urbanization and economic development of education investment,timely appropriate increase in different levels of different categories of education investment,so as to give full play to the role of the education investment,make the education become the driving force of economic development.
