As an integral part of Chinese wushu,wushu has typical Chinese elements and symbols,and plays an irreplaceable role in the communication of Chinese culture.However,with the trend of the spread of western learning to the east,a huge contrast has been formed between the development of martial arts and techniques and how to solve this practical problem is an urgent task to be completed.In order to serve the needs of national One Belt And One Road initiative,shaolin temple held the first shaolin 72 arts competition.The successful holding of this competition is conducive to the promotion of wushu skills,and has distinct theoretical value and practical significance for the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional wushu skills.This research adopts literature,questionnaire,expert interview,field investigation,logic analysis and other research methods,from the basic theory of shaolin seventy-two arts,shaolin art competition seventy-two project Settings principle,shaolin seventy-two arts competition project Settings status quo and the problems existing in the project Settings made an analysis on several aspects,such as research.Shaolin 72 arts refers to the daily practice of shaolin martial arts monks and the spread of martial arts related to shaolin,in order to improve the physical quality of a certain movement or exercise a special skill for the purpose of training methods.Shaolin 72 arts belong to the martial arts.Shaolin 72 art has five sports characteristics: simple movements and various methods;Internal and external repair,beyond the self;Combination of training and training: training and training;Focus on actual combat,easy to learn but difficult to practice;Gradual,incremental.The contemporary value of shaolin 72 arts is: improving and consolidating the actual combat value of wushu ability;Entertainment value of body and mind;Health value of lifelong exercise;The aesthetic value of internal and external integration and the pursuit of harmony;To inherit shaolin martial arts and carry forward the cultural value of shaolin culture.On this basis,the seventy-two arts of shaolin were classified.The setting of shaolin 72 art competition should follow the principles of fitness,appreciation,popularity,nationality,inheritance and innovation.In the shaolin 72 arts competition,most of the participating teams are from the private sector,and the number of athletes from colleges and professional sports schools is relatively small,so the publicity should be increased to expand the number of participants.In the setting of competition events,there are no two pairs of competing events,so two pairs of competing events should be added.Women's competitions have not been set up,resulting in a serious imbalance between male and female athletes in the participating teams.Women's competitions should be increased.According to the results of the investigation,women's bridge capture and shooting meteor can be added to the women's competition events,post tubo can be added to the two-man competition events,stone lock fist and palm flying knife two competition events to modify the rules,can be added to the women's competition events.Unreasonable competition rules will directly affect the comparability,appreciation and fairness of competition items.Questionnaire survey and interview of judges are conducted to understand the existing problems in the stipulated items,and reform ideas are proposed according to the problems.The suspended items in the self-selected items can be promoted to the prescribed items,and the selection method of performance items is worked out to provide a theoretical basis for better setting of performance items.It is expected that this study can provide theoretical support and practical guidance for rationalizing the setting of shaolin 72 arts competition and promoting the sustainable development of shaolin 72 arts competition.
