In the context of Industry 4.0 and the era of artificial intelligence,traditional learning methods can no longer meet the needs of talents in the new era.Project-based learning in the blending learning environment is more conducive for students to solve practical problems creatively.Students can realize knowledge construction and ability development in solving problems.It is an effective way to cultivate students' core literacy.The research questions are derived from the design,development,operation and service exploration of the "Ethnic Understanding online course" in primary and secondary schools launched by the "V-China" distance education project in 2017.Through practice,it is found that the blended learning mode of online courses is still a shallow blending,It can't achieve students' deep understanding of learning content.Project-based learning is a student-centered teaching method,using multi-disciplinary knowledge to solve real situation problems through group cooperation.It can promote students' meaningful learning,help them realize the active construction and transfer of knowledge,and achieve the goal of deep understanding.This paper uses literature research,case study and investigation research,learning from the research results of mixed learning and project-based learning in primary and secondary schools.UbD(Understanding by Design)theory is introduced into project-based learning in primary and secondary schools based on online courses.Building a project-based learning implementation model based on online courses.The model mainly includes six elements: analysis of project-based learning objectives,project preparation,project design,project implementation,project evaluation,learning environment and tools.Based on this model,this study will design the scheme and process for the project implementation of the “Ethnic Understanding” online course,improving the teaching effect of the “Ethnic Understanding” online course in primary schools,and using this to verify the effectiveness and improvement model of the model.The learners who participated in the project learning of the "Ethnic Understanding" online course were 30 students of Zhengzhou Y Primary School who took the school-based course of Ethnic Understanding.Through online test,project-based learning content,learning process,learning interest and learning evaluation to evaluate students' satisfaction with project-based learning and the improvement of information literacy,comprehension ability and collaborative learning ability.Combining the results of questionnaire and interviews with teachers,summarize the problems encountered in the implementation process,make recommendations on case implementation and model improvement.Generally speaking,the whole experience of this learning is positive,which can provide reference for carrying out project-based learning based on online course in primary and middle school in the future.
