The development of the national economy and the rise of automobile industry support the development of China's automobile sports,to meet the needs of residents to speed up the development of sports industry,the state encourages all cities to carry out winter sports,automobile sports and other leisure sports,promote the development of automobile professional events and the construction of race tracks.The construction of Beijing International Racing Valley can help Beijing to build an international sports city and help Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area to develop together,which can also speed up the urbanization construction of Fangshan district in Beijing and the transformation and upgrading of the sports industry.Beijing International Racing Valley is a key project of Beijing Fangshan's development planning,its development is greatly influenced by the external macro environment,through PEST analysis method to analyze the macro development environment of Beijing International Racing Valley and propose optimization measures is conducive to the development of Beijing International Racing Valley,it can also provide reference for the planning and development of other race tracks in China.This paper mainly through the literature and field investigation method to know the Beijing International Racing Valley's construction background,planning content and development status.Combined with PEST analysis from the political,economic,social and technical aspects of the analysis of the Beijing International Racing Valley's development facing the external macro environment.Through the case study method to understand the basic situation of Shanghai International Automobile City,and compare the external macro environment of Beijing International Racing Valley and Shanghai International Automobile City's development,summarize the experience of Shanghai International Automobile City's construction and sort out the problems in the construction of Beijing International Racing Valley.By analyzing the literature and the contents of the expert interview,put forward the development strategy of Beijing International Racing Valley,it can also provide reference for the construction of other racetracks in China.This conclusions reached in this paper are as follow:Political: National policy support,Beijing city function positioning and the needs for Fangshan's construction and development provide political guarantee for Beijing International Racing Valley,but the government regulation is inadequate and the relevant laws of the racing industry need to be improved.Economic: The national economy has grown steadily,the transformation of residents' consumption needs and values into the development of Beijing International Racing Valley and Automobile Sports creates a greater potential market,but the improvement of the level of economic development of Beijing residents has not significantly promoted the automobile sports.Social: compared with Shanghai International Automobile,the sports culture base around Beijing International Racing Valley is weak,influence the participation of racing consumption and race activities,to be good at drawing on the development experience of Shanghai International Circuit,the introduction of top automotive events with the help of media publicity for the rapid gathering of popularity of automotive events.Technical: Information age,the integration of the Internet and automotive industry development can provide better service for automotive racing professionals and model innovation;Promoting the birth of new technologies and products will contribute to the development of Beijing International Racing Valley.Research recommendations:the depth and angle of academic research related to the construction of racetracks in China need to be expanded;the national and local governments should provide more support and guarantee for the construction of racetracks and the development of the racing industry.
