Research On The Campus Culture Construction Of Private Colleges And Universities In The New Era

The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward the scientific conclusion that socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered into the new era.In the new era,the Party and the country attach great importance to the role of culture in the development of higher education.As an important part of socialist culture,college campus culture plays an irreplaceable role in improving the core competitiveness of colleges and universities,implementing the fundamental task of cultivating moral character and promoting the construction of a powerful country in higher education.Private colleges and universities have a huge presence in the cause of higher education.Therefore,studying the significance,current situation,problems and paths of campus culture construction in non-governmental universities in the new era is of great practical significance for students to strengthen their cultural confidence and promote the stable and healthy development of private colleges and universities.Based on the status quo of private colleges and universities,this paper firstly introduces the topic and the purpose and significance of the research,summarizes the research steps and methods and puts forward its creative ideas of the research on the basis of summarizing the research survey of scholars at home and abroad.Secondly,it elaborates the connotation,characteristics and functions of campus culture of private colleges and universities in the new era,with emphasis on the analysis of the characteristics and functions of campus culture.Thirdly,from the perspectives of five aspects of campus culture construction-material culture,spiritual culture,system culture,behavior culture and team culture-this thesis probes into the constituent elements of campus culture,pointing out that strengthening campus culture construction in private colleges and universities in the new era is not only an important factor for building core competitiveness,but also an inevitable requirement for connotative development.It emphasizes the great role played by campus culture in improving the quality of personnel training,condensing school-running characteristics and building high-level private colleges and universities.Fourthly,5 non-governmental universities in Henan province are selected out as the research objects;the on-the-spot investigation and interview and online questionnaires are adopted as research methods;and the current situation,achievements,existing problems and reasons of campus culture construction are of research focuses.Finally,the thesis expounds the path to promote the construction of campus culture in private colleges and universities in the new era.This chapter mainly discusses the countermeasures of strengthening the construction of campus culture in non-governmental colleges and universities from the aspects of strengthening the construction direction of campus culture,centering on the fundamental task of cultivating morality and cultivating people,carrying forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture,constructing a large pattern of multi-party participation and adhering to the organic unity of social benefits and economic benefits,so as to provide references for government decisions as well as the construction of campus culture in other non-governmental colleges and universities in Henan province.
