Driven by the new curriculum reform and curriculum standards,more and more attention has been paid to situational teaching and used in teaching widely.Teachers can create a reasonable situation according to the actual situation of the students by using situational teaching.It can help teachers mobilize students'enthusiasm and combine cognitive and emotional activities so as to promote the development of students.Using situational teaching in Mathematics Teaching,teachers can combine abstract and complex mathematics knowledge with students'real life,which can not only help students better understand mathematics knowledge,but also cultivate students'enthusiasm for learning mathematics.In order to help teachers better apply situational teaching to elementary school mathematics teaching,the author studies the current situation of the application of situational teaching in elementary school mathematics.Firstly,this paper explains the definition of situational teaching in primary school mathematics,summarizes the characteristics,types and application principles of situational teaching,expounds the theoretical basis of situational teaching,and summarizes the relevant domestic and foreign research through literature review.Then through literature research,questionnaires,interviews and observation,with the help of the author's internship opportunities,the current situation of primary school mathematics situational teaching was investigated.The survey is divided into two parts:students and teachers.Students'survey mainly includes:the basic situation of pupils'mathematics learning,the application of situational teaching in primary mathematics teaching,and the analysis of pupils'application of situational teaching in mathematics teaching classroom.The survey of teachers mainly includes the following aspects:the basic situation analysis of elementary school mathematics teachers,the cognitive analysis of elementary school mathematics teachers to mathematics situational teaching,and the application analysis of elementary school mathematics teachers to situational teaching.On this basis,combined with interviews and classroom observation,the author believes that there are two main reasons for the problems of situational teaching in elementary mathematics teaching:school reasons,teachers reasons.In view of the reasons for the problems,the author puts forward strategies from both schools and teachers.School should implement the idea of people-oriented education and strengthen the support of situational teaching.Teachers enhance theoretical literacy,update educational concepts;to improve cognitive structure,enhance situational awareness;to improve professional skills,the rational use of Situational Teaching.
