The Influence Of Dormitory Culture On The Growth Of College Students And The Optimization Path

With the deepening of higher education reform and the socialization of logistics management,the dormitory has become an extension and supplement of traditional classes and classrooms,and has gradually developed into a multifunctional place to meet the needs of college students for rest,study,life,entertainment and communication.In this relatively free and concentrated activity venue,college students have created a dormitory culture that conforms to the development of the times and has its own characteristics in their own unique way.It is not only an organic part of campus culture,but also an important carrier of Ideological and political education.Its rich cultural content reflects college students' ideological concept,moral quality,personality psychology,behavior and value orientation,and it plays a subtle influence on the overall development of college students in the process of their growth.Therefore,the construction of a healthy and harmonious dormitory culture should become an important issue for universities to build morality and cultivate people.The paper defines the concepts of "dormitory culture".Dormitory culture is a relatively stable group culture form created and enjoyed by the interaction of dormitory members.It is the sum of dormitory material culture,system culture,behavior culture and spiritual culture that permeate the dormitory and dormitory activities.Dormitory culture has an important influence on the thought,psychology and behavior of dormitory members.Dormitory culture is an important part of campus culture,which radiates and restricts the development of dormitory culture.Dormitory culture is the carrier of Ideological and political education,and ideological and political education leads the development direction of dormitory culture.The characteristics of dormitory culture are as follows:the blending of latency and persistence,the symbiosis of stability and plasticity,the unity of diversity and infectivity,the combination of autonomy and institution.The functions of dormitory culture are elaborated from five aspects:education guidance,normative constraints,personality shaping,emotional cultivation and group cohesion.The author investigates the influence of dormitory culture on the growth of college students in three universities in Wuhan.The results show that most college students are satisfied with the material conditions of their dormitories.They believe that the dormitory system is basically sound and can be observed,and they have a strong sense of belonging to their dormitories.From the analysis of the survey data,we can see that good dormitory material culture is conducive to improving college students' elegant aesthetic taste,cultivating college students' positive attitude towards life,and cultivating college students' profound cultural literacy;dormitory system culture has a greater impact on the formation of college students' behavior habits,moral quality and self-discipline consciousness;dormitory system culture has a greater impact on the formation of College Students' behavior habits,moral quality and self-discipline consciousness;dormitory behavior culture is directly related to the cultivation of college students' common values,social adaptability and enterprising spirit;good dormitory spiritual culture is conducive to promoting harmonious interpersonal relationships,positive learning behavior and healthy and complete personality of College students.In view of the problems existing in the process of dormitory culture construction,the optimization path of dormitory culture construction should be promoted from four dimensions:first,to create a comfortable and elegant material culture;second,to create a sound and standardized system culture;third,to create an orderly and diverse behavior culture;and fourth,to create a civilized and harmonious spiritual culture.
