Based on the data of CGSS(2015),this paper uses the ordered Probit(Ordered Probit)model to explore the impact of individual socioeconomic status and subjective social class mobility on fertility willingness,and further analysis in groups to examine whether fertility will vary with gender and urban and rural areas.The study found that:(1)When there are no policy restrictions,about 70%of residents have the willingness to have two children.(2)In general,income has a negative impact on the fertility willingness but is not significant.The educational level has a negative impact on the fertility willingness and significant;the subjective social class mobility has a positive impact on the fertility will and is significant.(3)Income has a positive and significant impact on male fertility will,and has a negative impact on women's fertility willingness;it has a negative impact on the fertility will of urban residents but is not significant,and the fertility willingness of rural residents is not significant.(4)The educational level has a negative impact on women's fertility will and is significant,but has a negative impact on male fertility willingness;it is not significant;it has a negative impact on the fertility will of urban residents and is significant,and the fertility willingness of rural residents There is a negative impact but not significant.(5)In the past,subjective social class mobility has a positive and significant impact on male fertility will,and has a positive impact on women's fertility willingness but is not significant.The sense of subjective social class mobility in the future has a positive and significant impact on women's fertility will,and has a positive impact on male fertility will not be significant;it has a positive impact on the fertility will of urban residents and is significant,and the fertility willingness of rural residents There is a positive impact but not significant.
