Risk decision-making refers to the decision made after weighing the pros and cons of several different decision-making schemes when the objective conditions are basically unknown. In real life, risk decision-making involves all aspects of people’s daily life. From the firewood, rice and salt of a family to the policy of the country, risk decision-making is an inevitable problem, both at the individual level and at the national level. Therefore, the discussion of risk decision-making has a certain practical significance.Previous studies have found that subjective socio-economic status can affect people’s cognitive function, but the current studies mostly focus on the current subjective socio-economic status, and there is little discussion on the subjective socio-economic status of individuals in childhood.Childhood is the key stage of brain development and psychological development, which will directly affect the cognitive function of individuals. At the same time, according to the life history theory,it is precisely because the individual’s childhood experience is different that there will be different tradeoffs and risk preferences when facing the same choice, which in turn affects the individual’s decision-making behavior. Therefore,it is necessary to explore whether individual subjective socio-economic status in childhood can independently influence risk decision-making.In addition, anxiety,as a very common negative emotion, often bothers people and seriously affects people’s work and life.Young people are in the current period of strong emotional and emotional sensitivity, and their lives are more likely to be affected by anxiety. Therefore, based on the deficiency and reality of previous studies, the purpose of this study is to explore the impact of childhood subjective socio-economic status on adolescent group risk decision-making,and to investigate the role of anxiety in its impact. In study 1,using a questionnaire survey,we studied the influence of individual’s subjective socioeconomic status in childhood on risk decision making. The results show that there is a significant positive correlation between individual’s subjective socioeconomic status and risk decision making. In order to further verify the impact of individual childhood subjective socio-economic status on risk decision-making,after controlling the individual’s current subjective socio-economic status, the positive correlation between childhood subjective socio-economic status and risk decision-making is still significant. The results of regression analysis showed that the subjective socioeconomic status in childhood had a positive predictive effect on risk decision making, and individuals with high subjective socio-economic status in childhood are more inclined to seek risk.In the second study, the simulated balloon adventure task(BART),was used to further verify the validity of the first result, and the State-trait anxiety questionnaire(State-Trait Anxiety Inventory,STAI))was used to measure their state anxiety and trait anxiety respectively to explore the mediating effect of anxiety on risk decision-making in childhood. The results show that state anxiety can mediate the influence of subjective socio-economic status on risk decision-making in childhood, while trait anxiety can not mediate the influence of subjective socio-economic status on risk decision-making in childhood. Therefore, the conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)the subjective socio-economic status of individual childhood can positively predict risk decision-making,the higher the subjective socio-economic status of individual childhood, the more inclined to risk-seeking.(2)State anxiety can mediate the influence of individual subjective socio-economic status on risk decision-making behavior, while trait anxiety can not mediate the influence of individual subjective socio-economic status in childhood.
