As one of the ten core concepts in Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Full-time Compulsory Education(Revised Version 2011),geometric intuition plays an important role in mathematics learning and research.Exploring the effective implementation of geometric intuition in junior high schools in algebra teaching has more positive significance for junior high school students to understand abstract algebra problems with the aid of intuitive graphics.At present,the research on geometrical intuition is mainly in the connotation,forms of expression and teaching status quo of geometrical intuition.The research on geometrical intuition teaching strategy,especially the practical significance of geometrical intuition teaching strategy in middle school algebra teaching,is worthy of in-depth study.This paper will focus on the following four aspects to carry out the research: First,it treats the the specific requirements of geometric intuition in compulsory education curriculum standards as reference,combines the theoretical research results,defines the junior high school number and algebra in geometric intuition concepts and connotations,and explores and analyzes relatively abstract algebraic problems with the aid of intuitive graphics;Secondly,on the basis of mathematics teaching practice in junior middle schools,through classroom observation and expert interviews,the author analyzes the current situation of junior middle school students' geometry intuition,and puts forward two specific geometry intuition teaching strategies in junior middle school algebra teaching,namely,"the strategy of highlighting conventional teaching" and "the strategy of special topic of core problem".Thirdly,taking the two chapters of "Multiplication of Integral Formula" and "Fractional Equation" published by People's Education Press as examples,the author designs the experimental teaching case by using the proposed teaching strategies and carries out the practical teaching.Fourthly,by testing the students' geometry intuitive ability to improve the situation of the two experimental classes which implement " the strategy of highlighting conventional teaching " and " the strategy of special topic of core problem ",through the comparative analysis of the test data and the control class test data,it is concluded that the two teaching strategies are conducive to the improvement of students' geometric intuition ability,and have a positive effect on students' using geometric intuition to solve abstractalgebra problems.
