In the latest round of mathematics curriculum reforming,“mathematics curriculum standards for compulsory education ”(2011 edition)will deem geometric intuition as one of the ten core concept words of mathematics,which has been re-proposed and further defined.This is shows that there are aroused the great attention to the ability of g geometric intuition in the mathematics study of compulsory,the cultivation of geometric intuition ability plays an important role in the process of learning mathematics.After many real-life problems are abstracted into mathematical problems,and jumping from specific life issues to abstracted mathematical problems,which render problems tend to more urgency,however,the cultivation of geometric intuition can makes complex mathematical problems concise and vivid as well as can helps to explore ideas for solving problems and predicts results,at the same time,it established a foundation for students to analyze and solve problems and it also contributes to the formation of students' innovative consciousness and improves their mathematical literacy.This paper focuses on the content of geometric intuition,and discusses it in three major parts through literature research method,experiment method and case analysis method:First part: At fist,classified and reviewed the literature related to geometric intuition by the collection of relevant data,previous studies,and carried out summarizing according to the description of geometric intuition concepts,geometric intuition ability investigation and research as well as geometric intuition training strategy research and the function of geometric intuition,second,make an analysis by regard the Comenius intuitive principle,Vancil's theory of geometrical thinking and Vygotsky's zone of proximal development as supporting,finally,define relevant concepts,this paper mainly gives the author's understanding of geometric intuition,and explains the connection and difference between geometric intuition and combination of numbers and shapes as well as mathematical modeling concepts.Second part: geometric intuition plays an important role in the algebra study of junior high school,in which has the main application in the algebra teaching of junior high school:1Using the number axis to represent numbers 2 Utilizing the Meanwhile,this paper makes an empirical study on the geometric intuition in the algebra teaching in junior middle school,regard the teaching of grade one as an example,two classes from No.1 junior high school in Xishan town,Guiping city,Guangxi were selected for the experiment,one class is the experimental class and other is the comparative class,at the beginning of the experiment,two classes were given a math test,and the results were analyzed based on the students' scores and abtained the conclusion: The ability level of geometric intuition of the comparative class and the experimental class is basically the same,in the experiment,the comparative class was not weakened,while the experimental class was strengthened geometric intuition ability in many mathematical activities,after the experiment,the two classes were given a math test,and analyzed the data based on student achievement analysis and come a conclusion: The comparative class and the experimental class have basically formed the ability of geometrical intuition,but the geometric meaning of the absolute value 3.Using points,lines,and planes of geometric figures 4.proving the mathematical formula by the geometrical figures 5Utilzing the graph and properties of the function 6 Using geometric intuition to reveal the essence of mathematical problems 7 Utilizing geometric intuition to solve practical problems ability level of the experimental class is higher than that of the comparative class,the experiment shows that the training of geometry intuitive ability is very helpful for students to learn mathematics.By means of the results of the experiment and combination of actual teaching,and analyzing the reasons that students lack the ability of geometry intuition from two aspects: The teachers pay little attention to the cultivation of the ability of geometric intuition and teachers are not familiar with dynamic geometry technology assisted instruction as well as students lack the ability to construct graphics and lack of understanding of conceptual geometric meaning and of language transition.Third part: Through analyzed the reasons of students lack the ability of geometry intuition,there are puts forward the main strategies for cultivating the ability of geometric intuition in the algebra teaching of junior middle school:1 Renew teacher's idea and strengthen geometric intuition 2.Make geometry intuition permeate through the teaching of mathematic concepts,theorem and formula 3.Pay attention to the combination of number and shape,and strengthen geometric intuition.Designing the teaching planning by virtue of regard the Pythagorean theorem as an example according to the geometric intuitive cultivation strategy that is proposed and provide teaching referenceFinally,this paper summarized the research and noted limitations and shortcomings of this paper.It is wishes this study has certain reference value to the training of geometric visualization ability in the algebra teaching of junior high school.
