According to the the Strength model of Self-control,individuals will consume their limited resources When individual was in the state of self-depletion,their self-control ability will decline, which will have a negative impact on their subsequent self-control behaviors. Many studies have shown that ego-depletion state leads to the reduction of individual prosocial behavior or the decrease of prosocial level. However, some studies have shown that the state of self-depletion does not necessarily lead to the reduction of prosocial behavior, and individual prosocial personality traits and prosocial motivation may play an important role in the relationship between self-depletion and prosocial behavior.Social value orientation is an important personality factor and motivation source influencing prosocial behavior.Generally speaking,in the allocation situation, individuals with pro-social value orientation will make more decisions beneficial to others.Prosocial behavior plays a positive role in junior school students' adaptation to social development. In junior school, students' social value orientation tends to be stable, while their self-control is still developing.According to the Strength model of Self-control,through two experiments to examine the influence of self-depletion and social value orientation on the prosocial behavior of 178 junior school students based on grade one students, and further explore whether moral vocabulary priming can compensate for the negative impact of self-depletion on students with different social value orientations.Experiment 1 explored the influence of self-depletion and social value orientation on the prosocial behavior of junior school students.Taking self-depletion and social value orientation as independent variables, the influence of the two on students' distribution quantity in dictator game was investigated. The main effects of self-depletion and social value orientation were significant. No matter what kind of social value orientation students, their prosocial behavior was affected by self-depletion.Compared with the no self-depletion condition, under the self-depletion condition, the quantity of students allocated decreased.Experiment 2 examined whether moral priming in junior school students could compensate for the negative effects of self-depletion on prosocial behavior.Taking moral word priming and social value orientation as independent variables, this paper investigates the influence of moral priming on the coin allocation quantity of students with different social value orientations under the state of self-depletion in the dictator game. And the results showed that the interaction between moral lexical priming and social value orientation was significant.Moral lexical priming significantly increased the quantity of pro-self students, but had no significant effect on the number of pro-social studentsConclusion:both pro-social and pro-self of junior school students,self-depletion will reduce their prosocial behavior.Moral priming can compensate for the influence of self-depletion on students' prosocial behavior to a certain extent.Compared with pro-social students,pro-self students were more susceptible to the influence of moral priming.
