Textbook illustration is an important part of textbooks and an important teaching resource.It is of great value and significance to recognize its function for carrying out education and teaching.Through literature research,the illustration of mathematics textbook has the following functions:(1)to stimulate students' learning motivation;(2)infiltrating students' values education;(3)cultivate students' observation ability;(4)improve students' ability of inquiry;(5)deepen the understanding of mathematical concepts;(6)to promote the cohesion of students' knowledge.Textbook illustrations have not been effectively used in the actual teaching and learning.In order to make better use of textbook illustrations,this study has selected two teaching clips of "intersecting lines" and "first order functions and equations and inequalities" for illustration.Based on the existing problems of illustration teaching,this paper expounds the specific teaching strategies from the perspective of teaching and learning in order to realize the function of textbook illustration.From the perspective of "teaching",this paper explains that teachers can improve students' ability to observe,analyze and solve problems by using the existing illustrations of textbooks.From the Angle of "learning",this paper discusses how to guide students to master the method of "learning",which includes reading pictures before learning,analyzing and using pictures during learning,and thinking about pictures after learning.In view of the static format of textbook illustrations at present,this paper puts forward the suggestion of using qr code beside illustrations,hoping to strengthen educators' full use of textbook illustration resources,improve teachers' and students' ability to apply illustrations,and provide operable Suggestions for readers.
