China’s Summer Paralympic Games have won many good results,and have ranked first in the total number of gold medals and medals in the four Paralympic Games in succession.By contrast,the development of the Winter Paralympic Games in China is much worse.Beijing and Zhangjiakou successfully jointly bid for the 24th Winter Olympic Games in 2022 and the 13th Winter Paralympic Games,which promoted the development of snow sports for the disabled in winter in China.Based on the case study of AVSC Club in the United States,this paper collects,collates and summarizes the relevant information about the training status of Paralympic alpine skiers in the United States,and summarizes the training characteristics of American alpine skiers.This study took the American AVSC(Aspen Valley Ski&Snowboard)club as the research object.Documentation,case study,survey and statistics and logical analysis were used.The current situation was investigated and analyzed of AVSC club management structure,AVSC club competition performance,AVSC club disabled athlete selection,AVSC club the cultivation of the disabled athletes,AVSC club the case analysis of the disabled athletes.AVSC club the coaches and AVSC club the logistics support,the following conclusions are drawn:1.The American paralympic alpine skiing event running system adopts the club free manager system;2.The U.S.paralympic alpine skiing program focuses on the selection of reserve talents;3.USA paralympic alpine skiing training does not distinguish between able-bodied and disabled athletes;4.The training of reserve talents in the U.S.paralympic alpine skiing program attaches great importance to both physical and learning;5.The special skills training of reserve talents in the U.S.paralympic alpine skiing program does not advocate the early professionalization of athletes,but advocates the"ten-year rule" and all-round training,and pays attention to the sustainable development of athletes;6.The U.S.paralympic alpine skiing program attaches great importance to the retraining of coaches,and excellent coaches help to cultivate elite athletes.
