The knowledge of chemical element compounds plays an important role in Chemistry Teaching of Senior Middle School,Elemental compounds is the carrier of other chemical knowledge.It is tantamount to building castles in the air when directly learning basic concepts,basic theories,chemical experiments,chemical calculations,and chemical terminology without knowledge of elemental compounds.However,the knowledge of elemental compounds are" complex and forgettable" for most of students.Therefore,it is of great significance to formulate and implement the teaching strategy of elemental compound in its teaching.There are five aspects difficulties for senior high school students to learn about elemental compounds:first,Insufficient learning motivation;second,they are unable to establish the mutual connection of knowledge;third,the influence of strange things;forth,lack of triple characterization;fifth,low level of meta-Cognition.In studying the teaching strategy of elemental compounds,we must carefully analyze the characteristics of elemental compounds,and then,study the learning mechanism of elemental compounds under the guidance of relevant theories.We believe that learning the knowledge of elemental compounds can be divided into three phases:The first phase---knowledge acquisition phase;The second phase--knowledge storage phase;The third phase---knowledge application phase.Because the knowledge of elemental compounds is characterized graphically in the brain.Therefore,only in the form of a knowledge network stored in the student's brain can it be maintained in the brain for a long time and firmly and can be quickly extracted and used.On the basis of the above research,we put forward the teaching strategy of the knowledge of elemental compounds.Aiming at the knowledge application phase,a variety of sensory coordination memory strategies,problem guidance strategies,and target orientation strategies are adopted;Aiming at the knowledge storage phase,knowledge structure strategies,meaning generation strategies and knowledge "chunking"strategies are adopted;Aiming at the knowledge extraction and application phase(that is,problem solving),the strategy of promoting students to form problem graphics is adopted.We take the teaching strategy of knowledge structuring as an example to carry out teaching practice.The practical results show that the teaching strategies we adopt have a great guiding effect on students to learn elemental compounds.In addition,I also did a case study on the implementation of teaching strategies,which have achieved obvious results.
